This song needs to be released commercially. It's an underrated gem.

I saw Rock'N'Roll High School in 1980 but just saw the movie again a few days ago and as soon as i heard this in the beginning I checked the soundtrack and it was not in it... so i googled Paul McCartney and Rock'N'Roll High School and found the song here.. after i looked over my Paul McCartney and Wings albums because i couldn't recall this song

Me too, except I know Paul's stuff from this period almost as well as Lennon's. I certainly thought I'd heard it all, but I don't think I noticed it when I first watched Rock and Roll High School decades ago. Lennon was where it was at for me at the time.

I see I have commented 2 previous times. I feel more compelled to contact SPM about a dream about his best friend of the past John Lennon, and a premonition I had in 1980. I was frantic in Dec 1989 in New York City; I had to ultimately give up concerning that premonition.
I had to conclude that premonition concerned a world figure....like a leader if some country or other. I didn't know it concerned JL.

Speaking of a "time" before. I commend Paul McCartney for his recent tribute to John Lennon at the recent show in Spokane. Especially poignant and touching, since my outlook today is that ..quite probably would not have been to pay such a tribute to PM, if life conditions had been reversed fir them. PM also can sing Beatle songs, but if.....JL could not have sung PM"s songs.

@@garethb1961 all before Paul ~ we also have to add that… she also dated Stevie Winwood (as Linda called him-lol) Paul made clear in his interviews “We both got a lot of boyfriends & girlfriends out of the way when we met and we were ready to settle down and have a family” ~ I admired the McCartney’s marriage ~ stayed faithful together till she passed✨
I have never seen the movie "our dumb century" but their published free news paper is sometimes pretty funny ,however sometimes their reviews of movies and music , for the matrix they said"follow the red rabbit" did they see the same movie the rest of us did? For Paul McCartney 's Driving Rain I think I said this before it just baffles me they outright criticized the song "Freedom" saying "what could Paul McCartney possibly know about the concept of Freedom ? Excuse me I think when he was alive he possibly knew more about freedom then some of us could ever fathom , apparently, well perhaps because je came from a socialist country he earned his way there! Even if you do not know who he was or even like his music , it is not just my opinion ,he deserves all of our mutual respect !
