This song. It's been SO long since I finished code geass but the moment it started all the memories started flooding back. Gosh it's like I freaking lived that life. The pictures make it even more bloody sad, their fates are all you can think about. And the songs lyrics fit so well too. Ugh Anime like code geass and clannad are probably the main reason why I can't listen to sad songs anymore. *cries river full of tears*
The picture with Rolo shedding his wings in 0:30 is meant to symbolize his transformation in becoming Lelouchs brother. He "joins the demon" is the thought behind it.

I think this should have been the ending to the whole series. To have played this with the original images with the chains etc after Kallens monologue at the end (after the Story Continues music). This would have been a more emotional ending as this is quite a soft song in comparison to the actual ending. This would have been more tear jerking
I would've preferred Mosaic Kakera, but to each their own. This one's good, but I feel that Mosaic Kakera would've been a better fit. It seems sadder, in it's own way.
don't get me wrong I love that ending them as well, just out of the two endings fro the second season, this one is definitely more emotional than the actual ending theme for the finale. This would have fit better after Continued Stories
