@turnschuhtanzlehrer To each their own. That's not how we teach here in the South. The demo and tutorial should be two different videos. The tutorial is done facing away from the camera, by the professional instructors. The demo is performed facing away from the camera for this as well. That's because there are a lot of advanced dancers who can follow easily just from a demo. Just fyi. Check out the professional channels for line dancing. Each routine will have a demo and a tutorial. They always start away from the camera.

Always demo facing away from camera. Also this is considered a country line dance so boots and jeans are worn by instructors and dancers.
