They used electric bass on this album. People didn’t dig that. I think it’s a good record from a great band. I’m gonna say, it’s better than 40 by a mile. I still listen to it regularly.

@@thepompking8842 Probably because it steps outside of the usual three chords. While it's regular rock/pop it still has their overall rockabilly feel.
