We're you able to correctly tighten the bo.t to ensure the aftermarket gear lever stays in place? Can you share a link for the aftermarket gear lever please.
Have you tested it yet? Just fitted same lever to my voge. (It's magical how youtube video suggestions work!) I chose the upper position, but haven't yet test ridden it. I also had my stock lever moved one tooth up and it was a bit better, but still too short for comfort. I've seen comments in aliexpres that people managed to shear off the teeth of these aluminum aftermarket levers so a bit worried how it will hold, so just in case I've placed original lever under the seat (don't have bags yet)
-2 today. Will take it out in few days(sat-sun +10*) then I will get to know what I’ve involved myself into..hopefully good news. Stock lever and wrenches under the seat sounds like a great idea! Aluminum is not as durable as steel we need to keep that in mind. I guess we need to check the bolt not coming too lose this is what strips the teeth

I replaced the Allen bolt with an ordinary bold as it was much easier to tighten as you can get a ring spanner in.

I brought mine off Ali express...but as yet not fitted yet.
Don't buy a balance bar, for the handlebar... some don't fit!!
