I just did mine yesterday and man I am so much more happy with it now! It's so much louder. I havent gotten to ride mine yet but i can't wait. 100% worth it if you ask me even leaving the cat in.
Thanks for the video, saved me a ton by knowing I wont need a full exhaust to get great sound. I don't even own the bike yet but I'm getting it next season. Don't know how this would effect the warrantee so ill hold off for a year or whatever but after that, sc procect slip on, moore mafia tune, and breadbox delete.
Yeah it probably will be because all an aftermarket exhaust has different is the catalytic converter is gone. The only difference should be the sound, so if you think a straight pipe is loud you might want to either keep the breadbox on with the crt or remove it and keep the stock slip on
@@Questionable_Riding man I just did it and it’s crazy ahah it’s less louder than straight pipe, but the amount of "POPS" I get is crazy😂 don’t know about you, but for me, I’m a popcorn machine ahahah
@@olivierdubois2273 🤌 a man of taste. I Legit just recorded videos where I drilled out the cat, flashed it and put in a new air filter that im editing now. I can’t wait to show you guys the final sound its crazy! If you like pops i think you’ll like whats next😂
1 How often does it backfires? 2 Is there any adverse effect on the engine, like the temperature and fuel consumption? 3 Is it necessary to do remapping/dyno? 4 Will it hurt the bike if you dont do remapping/dyno?
In all honesty, I did this exact same modification to my exhaust with the same slip on and it is way too loud and at 30 years old, I’m surprised I’m even even saying that. I’m probably going to invest in some earplugs, but may eventually go back to the stock muffler. Hopefully eBay has some used ones cheap.
Just did this a couple of days ago. The sound is COMPLETELY different. I love the pops and gurgles. WAY louder LOL. Also, noticeable difference on pulls. The weight reduction alone was worth it. 100% recommend as a first real "performance" mod."
from where to buy link pipe for deleting breadbox? provide the link and details coz i have SC project S1 and it has compatibility issues with lot of link pipes
Most inspection stations for bikes really don't care. As long as your turn signals and brake lights work, they'll pass you. I go to one who I just hand the dude $25, he has me start it, throw on the signals and test brakes then gives me a sticker lmao

Ayo I grew up in that area, nice to see another rider on UA-cam from the area!
I'm pretty sure ur right that's why I slapped the slip on exhaust by Austin racing and left the bread box and everything else just so I don't burn spark plugs and ruin the internal motor
The popping you hear is combustion after the engine because I removed the breadbox. If it was doing this with the breadbox on then yeah id be in trouble.
today I pulled off the stock rear muffler, and just left the exhaust to end after the breadbox (resonator). It sounds awesome, not to loud but it has a deep grunt. Also cleared up a lot of foot room for your right heel. Highly recommend this way as it also leaves your stock pipes intact for resale
If you don’t like pops block off emission valve with marble

This was my exact same reaction when i put the full titanium exhaust on mine, it was crazy loud 😂
dang bruh, you just raw dog red line that bike 1 min after start up 😫 I could never

@@ninji5226 hope you enjoy it like I do big dog, it's miles better than stock now
Put a bigger slipon if u want it quiet
Do you know if it’s as loud as a straight pipe? Because I tried it straight pipe and it was way too loud for me. I have a crt too and might do it

It's hardly any louder if you drill cat out
Cat converter is present or removed??
And I got a Austin racing slip on exhaust...
Bro. Where did you get the side grips? been looking everywhere for those
Amazon but they fell off before the season was over so I might find different ones
Is that legal in the US?
I cant be the only one thinking - that kind of straight, just outta your driveway = fun
Can it be safety’d once you take the cat off?

Just did mine on my 2024👍 such an amazing sound~ cheap too! Can notice the weight difference immediately
This'll be the first mod I do to my '24 Z900 once I get it in a few weeks. M4 sells a slip-on that comes with the mid-pipe too so that's wicked handy.
New subs here. Btw. left down some questions. Keep it up and ride safe.
Did you check to see us you will have issues with passing inspection or do you not care? Just curious. Nice bike and setup, I have the same one!
I didn’t check tbh but now that it’s done I would have to say that I don’t care if it passes
I got you, that makes sense. Enjoy the upgrades and thanks for sharing the content. Stay safe out there bro!@@Questionable_Riding

This guy is having a sensational satisfaction towards his bike. lol!
cutting breadbox requires ecuflash?
Not as long as you leave the catalytic converter alone. If it’s still in you’re fine 👌
thanx for your answer !

It’s not loud cuz the cat still there, drill it out! 🙏
It’s on the mod list as we speak 🤫,I’m thinking ill do it when I send my ECU to get flashed!
Not worthy
Will I need extra pipe? Or will my slip on connect to my cat?
You need extra pipe, decat
I got a bread box delete and a tune and made 124whp.
Where did u get tuned from? Im looking into my options rn so would appreciate the help
from what i can hear it defenetly worth it 😁👌
I definitely think so, I couldn’t even hide how happy I was 😂
the popping is not good for the engine tho?

@@Questionable_Riding oh ok thx man! Beautiful bike. Just about to do the first 1000 k service on my z900. Nice channel! Boom!

so its all about the noise - i couldnt handle that noise buzzing in my ear all day
Realistically you should ride with ear plugs anyway and most earplugs reduce decibel levels by 20-30db so it's really not as loud.
