Dearest John Michael, What a beloved brother in the Lord you are!! I just listened to "Healer of My Soul" and reflected on the many ways God has brought healing into my life. This entire DVD brought such comfort to my 32 yr old dying husband in 1994 and to myself. I still listen to it and enjoy it on youtube Thank you, Brother, John Michael. The song, "Healer of My Soul" was sung at his funeral. When in distress, I always come back to this wonderful music. God Bless you!

John Michael Talbot music was one of the paths which led me to the Church after God beckoned once again. Forever greatful.
I can't think of any musician in my many years on this earth, that is more musically inspired by the Holy Spirit than John Michael Talbot. And I am not Catholic, though that is irrelevant as we will all stand before the Lord one day soon, and give an account, not of what ministry, church, or denomination we belonged to, but of our own hearts' choices. What we did with JESUS. Did I genuinely accept John 3:16, the simple Gospel (Good News) and magnificently free and generous gift of God, lest any man should boast?? Or did I give lip service and add Jesus as an insurance policy?... God forbid. We will not be judged on what limb of the body of Christ we belonged to. Again...the HEART of a man is where the Lord will inquire.
Consider the criminal crucified next to Jesus. He was convicted of a capital crime and sentenced to a Roman death sentence of crucifixion. No history as a believer in God. No church affiliation, no baptism, no Confirmation, no observance of the Sacraments, no confession, no fish sticker on his donkey, etc. Nothing, yet he recognized Christ's divinity, Christ's innocence, and his own guilt, and said as much to Jesus and the mocking co-criminal on the other side of Christ. Near death, and had the presence of mind to acknowledge that Jesus was the true Son of God. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. “Remember me Lord in your Kingdom”. Jesus said….” This day you will be with me in Paradise”. Truly, an event and GIFT from God to all mankind to settle once and for all, that no WORKS or affiliation of any kind, etc., will ‘earn’ us a place with Him in eternity. No. Simply…John 3:16. Please…Believe it…accept it with all your heart…time is short. And if you do? REJOICE! Because you are His. Free from eternal separation from God. As Jesus said…” To whom the Son sets free, is free indeed!”
To you who doubted your salvation because of merit-based thinking, you feel you have not, or will not meet what God requires for salvation. Fear not any further. If you genuinely made that John 3:16 decision, know that as Jesus so plainly and powerfully proclaimed… ”To whom the Father gives to me, no one will snatch them out of My hand”. Good news indeed. Therefore, joyfully accept His free offer of salvation and gratefully go forward doing good works as the Lord leads. But know…nothing you do beyond that John 3:16 decision will enhance that glorious and generous gift of salvation. Jesus settled that account on the Cross once and for all. You are secure under the wing of God’s protection. Again, we do these good works out of a grateful heart.
When the Holy Spirit unblinded my wretched soul from the enemy, and I received the Lord 41 years, 3 months, 24 days, 3 hours, and 45 minutes ago (at the submission of this Comment), as a young U.S. Marine (God bless our Corps), I went from a self-centered and Rock and Roll worship lifestyle, to seeking God's ways, and JMT music inspiration overnight. Discarding all my worldly music and being utterly blessed and inspired by this servant of God (JMT) to this day, and as a musician myself. Thank you, Lord, from the deepest recesses of my Jeremiah 17:9 heart. Your mercies know no bounds. You are truly MAGNIFICENT! Amen...

.....but Mary never said "and my name will be forever exalted"....she said "all generations will call me blessed." Only God's name is exalted. l know the music is beautiful, very beautiful...but that's no small thing....Why doesn't anyone notice the error?

Eadh day I listened to him & his wife KBVM 88.3, Catholic.
The only local Christian station, KPDQ, was loaded w 1 sided controversy, always cutting down others. When the Rice/Thomas sexual controvery came to light, the stations arrogant/nasty curator sided w Thomas, saying Rice was lying. HOW did HE know THIS?
I switched stations, NEVER to return, NEVER!
I enjoyed the young Talbots wonderful and loving ways. Miss them sooo much!
