Having watched Thomas and pals as a kid, it's so surreal to see their faces on actual trains. Happened to be at a train station today, and I overheard a little boy asking questions about the trains, such as, "where is the train's house?" So there will probably still be an audience for these meet-and-greets in the future.
Kenny on a no context adventure is everything 😂. I know I’ve been somewhere as a kid with a lifesize Thomas the tank engine like these. I have no idea where it was, but I know it happened
So cool that you got to check this out! I live close to a theme park in western North Carolina called Tweetsie Railroad, and they do Day Out with Thomas every summer too.
This inspired me to check on running train museums in AZ to visit this holiday. Unfortunately but understandably, they’re closed for the summer months. But I'll try to keep it in mind for Thanksgiving/Xmas time.
Went to Hersheypark yesterday. Waited 10 minutes for wildcat. Longest wait of the day was 30 minutes for cupfusion. Super fun day. I did a lot of rides!
I get such a thrill when you go somewhere that’s new to the channel and I can yell “we’ve been there!” Strasburg Railroad has a steampunk festival sometimes which is fun. More importantly, you *NEED* to go back to the caboose motel around the holidays and put quarters in the nightmare-inducing Santa animatronic in the middle of the lobby train set. It’s worth every cent…
The Strasburg Railroad has some wonderful railroad equipment like their Strasburg Railroad Thomas the Tank Engine (A.K.A Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal #15, built by the H.K. Porter Company in 1917) here.
The last train ride I took that wasn't in a theme park was back in 2012, and it was the train that takes you from Williams Arizona to the Grand Canyon.
Not gonna lie, I've always found Thomas and friends to a bit creepy. I thought that shot of Rusty slowly encroaching on you was terrifying, until what I thought was the static, fiberglass face of Thomas, opened it's mouth. I was not expecting that to be animatronic. I'm shook.
I remember coming here tk the one in nj unless it was pa when I was younger, I was to stupid to remember if it was in jersey or pa, bc I was like 7 and that was almost 11 years ago 1:23 omg, bro I remember I stayed at this hotel one night! I forced my parents to get me a bunch of train toys from here when we went on vacation
I've actually stayed at the Red Caboose!! We went a few times when I was a girl scout like. Uh. Probably close to 20 years ago. I remember finding it really cool! I have also done the auto train, which is also cool, but it is decidedly not as comfortable as the Red Caboose.
I wanted to take the autotrain my last trip to Disney but couldn't get enough time off of work. If you do, you should think about stopping at the National Zoo in DC on the way maybe?
They're impossible to hate, For all the content they create, Drinkin' all the Mountain Dew, They're the theme park vlog boys crew! At Hershey Park every day, Charging Teslas free of pay, They've for sure gone 'round the bend, Kenny and his friends!
My wife calls the glasses rope “nerds rope” I called it “urkel string” but as I’m older I put that thing on my sunglasses and have no worries at theme parks.
Time to use my one fact that is useful (haven't seen the video entirely yet, so if Dan or Kenny mentioned this on in the vid thehre officially cool) - the Strausberg Thomas is the only steam powered Day Out With Thomas engine in the US. All the others are dummy units built at Strausberg (sometimes the steam one travels to other railroads but not often) Also the UK having more spare steam engines tends to convert actual tank engines into Thomas more than building dummy units.
@@pleasestopvlogging I have another fact for you then man: this thing was built as a movie tie in. When the Thomas and the Magic Railroad movie was made back in the early late 90s, the film producers filmed on location at this railroad. But to get the permission, the Thomas rights holders agreed to let Strausberg built that Thomas and host Thomas events.
Engineer Dan? Love It! Kenny At An Actual Railroad? Not Just "Oh Look A Train At Universal?" Epic! You Tell Dan This Was A Great Idea! I have experience a day out with Thomas one in 2016 at the BNO railroad Museum in one at the Strasburg Railroad, 2023 June 17 the color tour with Thomas the Tank Engine got there a little late didn’t have a picture in front of him because of the line I got a train ride with Thomas to Paradise. It was a fun adventure, and I love the Strasburg so much because of their Thomas
I also found another UA-cam channel where this guy rides this bike setup on old unused tracks all over the country. I just want to do something similar so bad.
@@pleasestopvlogging that’s wicked cool!!! I’ve always liked trains as much as the next person but I lived walking distance from an Amtrak station in college that I used fairly often to go home, since that station is 20 minutes from my parents house. That really solidified my love. I don’t live near it anymore, but I do have the train/robber show at Silver Dollar City that’s so scenic and full of laughs! Not to mention the Branson Scenic Railway with alllllll the views
Also yeah… I tried the orange square crunch wrap. It was “meh” at best and an unnecessary addition to a perfectly acceptable fast food product. Better than the Cheese-it pizza from Pizza Hut a year or two ago where the cheese-it flavor was too overpowering
hey, my names Thomas. I'm in the Thomas The Tank Engine Fandom. I've seen videos like yours before. point of advice, watch yourself because *they* aren't going to like this lol
This Vlog has some Big Train Energy today and I'm here for it.
I took an Amtrak from Disneyland to NY. 4 days crossing the US seeing all through my window. Best experience of my life

I can't wait for Disney Dan to do the evolution of Thomas and I know a lot about Thomas
The Unlucky Tug channel does all those.
@Banjo_Tails I've watched all of them depsite already knowing everything he said lol

Watching your videos always brings a smile to the face. Your side comments are gold.
Thank you!

You guys drove right past the Disney Outlet store! Also, I'm dying to try the autotrain from VA to Florida!
Woah, I grabbed a cranberry juice from a plethora of random drinks from the work fridge mid-video. A dab to you Kenny.

You should've checked out the train museum across the street too. They have a huge warehouse of old trains you can look inside and some you can go in
I’ll go back.
I love the older Thomas TV show with all the train sets. When I was a kid I adored Thomas and the Magic Railroad too. Dan had that big train energy. 😅
I love what you do
Something you wouldn't expect George Carlin to be associated with.
I always forget about that.
Can we all just admit those non-faceless steam engines are creepy as heck?

Nice! Thanks. I will find the email.

Wait…what is S tier? It’s better than A tier. I feel like I missed something…
Yeah S tier is above A tier. It’s like a God tier. That’s where the classic green Mountain Dew lives.
Didn’t know Dan liked thomas I like him even more
we were there on June 20!
"There's like 6 beds," "Yeah, there's 4 bunk beds."

Wow! Did you guys see one of the live shows they did during the day? If not, I have a filmed version of it on my channel!
Oh nice. I will check it out. We need to borrow some of your footage when we make the Thomas evolution video for Dan’s channel.
That's alright with me!
Oh gosh, I cannot WAIT for Kenny and Dan commentary on the new purple *sexy* train…

I love Thomas and loved him growing up, I remember doing one of these very young and I can’t BELIEVE they still do 🤩 that’s Awesome 😃
