So helpful!!!! I’m glad Flora was able to put it into words, because I had been struggling with the same thing. What makes me feel feminine in winter is keeping a high, nipped in waistline. Yes to flared midi skirt and knee boots. Yes to high waisted trousers. Also yes to cropped cardigans so as not to lose the waistline.
Hi Daria. It feels like you just made this wow for me personally. All fits . My style my colours my fit. I absolutely love it. Also I enjoyed the background information relating to the style. Thanks!
I kind of miss living somewhere with colder winters - I found it so much easier to dress for -10/-15°C than for my current 0-7°C!! 😂 I loved wearing dresses in the winter - just make sure you've got good stockings/tights/leggings and you'll be just as warm as if you'd wear a pair of trousers! When it was *really* cold (and I anticipated being outdoors for more than a quick walk to the bus), I'd just double up on the tights. I find that a good pair of knit tights can be just as warm, if not warmer, than a regular pair of jeans tbh.
Hello Daria , you have excellent fashion ideas . It would be great if you could make a video for full figured mature women as our body changes after menopause and we feel limited in many ways . You have great style , bravo !
I always love your capsule wardrobes. Major inspiration! Uh winter items that always make me feel classy: berets, black fitted turtleneck sweater, classic cut wool coat. Magic combo. Paired with anything will always look polished and chic 👌👌
I am a skirt and dress person. This was right on time. Yesterday I had an A-line navy blue corduroy skirt on with a sweater and got compliments but most important was warm in 30 degree weather! These ideas have spurred me on to keep creating pretty and lovely outfits that hit my girly side.
I like the elegant puffer coat you found! Another option I am trying out in Canada this year is: wear my wool blend trench coat i would wear in more mild or coastal winters, BUT under it, layer: base layer + warm sweater/wool trousers + a thin puffer vest + big scarf. Fingers crossed that it works! But it means my milder-weather coat might get more wear and I can pull off layers as needed when the temperatures I'm in vary between 10 Celsius down to -30 Celsius.
Great tips and brilliant wardrobe example! I find it so much more difficult to dress feminineny in winter, so this was really helpful. Oh, and I love your makeup in this video, just perfect! 🥰
Finally, my style. So glad you did this video. This was fantastic! I have a lot of these pieces already, but I love how you broke it down. Please do a video on the same style for summer. Thank you so much!! Love your channel. Keep the inspirations coming!!😊
Merci infiniment Daria. As a soft-classic, winter dressing tends to make me look frumpy which I always hated. You're a lifesaver, merci encore. Oh and by the way, flare leg jeans back a la mode because the 70s is the new silhouette when the 90s trend fades. Mark my words.
I live in Milan and I suffer the cold a bit! For me jeans in winter are not warm enough, I still wear them but with leggings or thick stockings underneath:) I use a lot of corduroy or heavy wool classic trousers. Even heavy fustian is a very good option!! It’s hard to find clothing with it, but my mom sewed me a pair of pants
I’m curious what a Winter Wardrobe palette would look like for Spring, it seems like the colors would either be all wrong for the weather and fashions available for the conditions or we would be forced to wear Autumn colors
You have impeccable style, Daria. I wish I could just copy some of your capsules straight away (but since I’m your WoW student I know it doesn’t work like that ;)).
I put a lot of thought and effort into creating my capsules and am glad you find them inspiring. As a student of my WoW course, you know that true style is about finding your own voice and expressing yourself through your wardrobe. Keep working on your own style and don't be afraid to try new things!
For me is more comfortable in the winter to wear 2 pairs of tights, that pants or jeans, even at -10 degrees. But most of all because is hard to find pants that look good on me, because I'm am petite, pear shape and I have belly. Maybe you can do a video how to choose pants if you want to hide your belly? It will be helpful. In my city is hard to find something and now I am really scared to order pants online.
Hi Oana, I am also petite and pear shape, I understand the struggle! For me, high wasted mom jeans look the best, and they are easy to find in thrift shops. Hope this helps!
@@laetitialalila7390 , unfortunately until now I couldn't find any mom jeans that look good on me. In the past, my mom made my dresses or my pants, or adjust the jeans... but now I visit her only a few days per year...
Daria Andronescu i am always drawn to wintertype colours but then learned I am an autumn type. I was not happy but you have shown my How beautiful an autumn pallet can be. And I too find winter wardrobe more difficult than summer. Not sure why
Hi Daria! Thank you very much for this video! I personally love long classic coats in winter. I can wear them almost everyday as I live in Italy. But we do have those freezing days from time to time so I also have a puffer jacket. I went for a shorter and more fitted version and with a nice collar so it looks more femminine! P.s. You look great in this video!
Thank you, Daria! I've been struggling with the same issue for a few years now and I've always felt so low in winter cause I can't wear the clothes I feel good in. Great tips ❄️🧚❄️
Hi, Daria! It was really intresting to know when modern classic style appeared. 🤓 Great capsule wardrobe. 😎 It may be missing some pieces, like blazers to layer over sweaters/blouses and short boots to wear with pants. And flared jeans are in trend right now, as the 70s fashion is. Hi from Russia, Saint-Petersburg, even though we don't have snow now and it's raining most of december this year, usually its cold here from october till almost may. ❄️🌲
Those tick wool tights nude or skin color tights are a live saver. I also love to wear colorful and floral printed clothing in the winter... I don't know why people go for the cold colors...
Thanks! I am so glad to hear that! No I won't but you can take a closer look at the wardrobe example on the blog: wonder-wardrobe.com/blog/classic-wardrobe
I was so curious about this wardrobe, since I truelly see myself as romantic and classical, but this wardrobe is not for someone like me. I HATE puffer jackets, I prefer long, A-line and wollen coats for winter. I also miss a bit of the typical femine silhouettes... A full circle skirt in flannel with a boatneck sweater tucked in, a floral swingdress, or a typical really tight pencildress with a bowtie... winter staples for me...
Naamah Notorious I see your point, but since the premise of the video is to create a wardrobe for cold and wet winter weather, some of the items you prefer would not be the best choice. Especially the coat, it has to be waterproof and a woolen coat would not stand the heavy rain or the snow. I also love that type of coats, but since I live in a very rainy city I can't always use it and I had to get a puffer jacket for the winter and a raincoat for the summer 🤷🏻♀️
@@fdrcclmnt11 I live in Belgium, rain in abundance, but I refuse puffer coats, I find them hideous. I'd rather put a raincoat over my wollencoats than put something like that on. Jikes. Swingcoat style raincoats exist! But to each their own ofcourse... I was just very surprised that tho this sounded like something completely up my alley, I actually didn't find much my style in it. I've found outfit idea's on your channel in wardrobes that didn't really sound like my style plenty and so I was a bit confused.
I have a Navy Blue London Fog Trench coat that meets my needs. Classic and I don't need to worry about it going out of style. I can take out the liner in the Spring time if I like. My shorter winter jacket is a hooded burgundy, quilted style, that will also stand up to wet weather. I no longer live in Wisconsin, so I don't need a parka.
I wear it closed with office wear pin.it/5wqpczyfizbo5y ...but also open over a striped t-shirt, blue jeans and navy sneakers pin.it/bznf6xhvwc73h3 People often stop me and complement me on that coat :)
it s very hard for me to find inspiration from the wordrobe you present.... i think you should use actual outfits, actually worn by a person.... just mix of clothes images it’s not very helpful for me. i love your account for being so informative, i learnt a lot. thanx

A big yes to flared jeans! I never gave mine up even when they stopped being cool.

I know exactly what you mean. Im Siberian girl living in rainy warm Vancocouver 😉
I even like to wear tights/ leggings *underneath* my jeans haha 😆
When clothes fit like glove and are in classic cuts /lines it feels amazing. You just feel “put together”.

Love the background about the classic style - really helps me understand it more. And fab outfits :D
It seems that this particular wardrobe was made just for me! Thank you. I would wear almost every item.
Lovely ideas for a winter wardrobe. I love the jumper and skirt style as it's so versatile. Great pieces to include in a capsule wardrobe too :)
Great ideas for someone who is trying to get the classic look

Thank you! I’ve noticed that this style is usually presented in classic colours like grey, white, blue, pink, navy... I wanted to try something new 🤓

So beatiful!! I guess it is most suitable for rounded Body types or? Because of the defined waist line?
Could you please make example for Apple body type please
