    That pic of you with the dreads is going to inspire a lot of cats. My beard didn't fully connect until I was 23. Most dudes want a huge beard before theirs connects but give up before it can. Time and patience is the key to it all bro, great video!

    The struggle I'm going though with my beard is mainly the chin! I noticed it has grown a lot more than the others, leaving patches that are pretty visible while wearing a light-colored top. You hit it pretty well bro

    The difficult phases of beard growth make it all the sweeter when it gets there. Yours is looking perfect now. I had the indentations which I put down to winter top collars compressing the sides.

    I call beard development 2nd puberty. I'm 23 now and I think I'm going to grow my second beard. I first started at 19, and had it for just over a year. My beard had definitely filled in a lot more, more so my moustache. I just discovered Just For Men Beard and Moustache, so dying my beard has also made it look a lot more thicker. I can't wait to see how it goes. I've got 2 more years till I hit 25 to see what beard I'll be blessed with for the rest of my life.

    Wow you definitely hit it on the head with this video,I had concerns about my beard based on patches and the pattern in which my beard grows.
    I'm 6 months into mine last 3 months Ive been to the barber and he shapes me up and such,last month I felt he went in on the ends and well he DID.
    Haven't been back since,and in my head I said what drew me to you,how can I grow hair if I'm cutting it.
    My question is how do i keep the hairs from jumping out after like an hour of styling?
    I moisturize balm and oil EVERY MORNING AND EVENING,my beard is nowhere near your level,but it is long enough now the lip hairs are constantly in my nose.
    I'm constantly trimming my moustache and with a ton of regret,as the rest of my beard is showing promise(3 months in I almost chopped it off) so I know persistence pays.
    I have balm but I don't think it's heavy enough to keep hairs tamed throughout my day,I work outdoors in Florida.
    Can you suggest anything or videos you've made?One is playing now about twisting your beard but I'm short haired ATM 😂 so twisting is out.
    Im not for cutting this work in process off because of irritating hairs,I'm fine with the process to that King's beard I'm currently chasing,gotta be if I'm working living in Florida.Thanks BB

    I used to wonder what the point of having a beard was until I grew one at 38yrs old. Your beard can tell you things about your health. I can alert you about health issues such as dehydration, lack of healthy fats and oils (breakage and dryness) and a beard will attract more intelligent females from my experience. I cannot imagine not having a beard ever again

    Greetings my brother!! I've been checking out your videos. Very enlightening knowledge. My beard is about the same length as yours. I try and catch my split ends and clip them before they get big, to prevent losing length. What is your recommendation for split ends?

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  8 років тому +1

      nick thompson yeah bro moisture is prob the best prevention. Are you blow drying your beard often? If not maybe you should switch up your products and find something your beard likes better. Look for beard oil that has Or you can mix almond oil coconut oil and sandalwood essential oil and that should help too! Let me know how it work if you try it 👊🏾✌🏾✌🏾

    Hey man, good video and sweet beard. Have you trimmed the sides at all in this video? I trimmed mine very carefully and tactfully at the 5 month mark and I'm trying to decide if I should let them go untrimmed from now on or not. Mine were really sticking out and making my face look super fat like a chipmunk storing nuts in his cheeks. Thanks.

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  7 років тому

      Joe P anytime you’re going to trim its a tough decision after long thought for the first time I trimmed my sides about a week ago and im not happy at all about the outcome. So just remember less is more when it comes to trimming

    I need to know should I cut my beard again to start fresh all over again to have a healthy beard growth! I cut it off in 2016 because I lost a close family member. But I also cut it off due too it wasn’t growing full in the way I’d wanted and to my barber dropped it to after I’d told how my beard is forming. And he still brought it down! So I cut it all the way off and been until now! How should I go bout it?

    what do you think abt minoxidil for the beard?

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  8 років тому +1

      ken s I never looked into it but I would be cautious about putting any chemicals on my face to help my beard grow but I can also understand wanting a beard enough to try products to make it happen. Sometimes it just takes patients there was a time that I thought my beard would never connect. Is that a product that you will always have to use once you start?? I couldn't give you an honest opinion because I have no experience with it. I personally wouldn't try it but if you do Just be careful bro and pay close attention to the first sign of any side effects if you experience any Much success on your beard journey!!

      thx for the response!
      you only have to use it untill all the hairs are matured(6/12 months), and then you gradually lower the dose.
      ive been using for 7/8 months now, and it realy works.
      there is a fb group with 25000 people who use it haha

    I am starting my beard from a stage where I already have a long growth on my chin and the sides have been shaved down and growing for about a week. Under my jawline and neck area was shaven to skin but is now at a stubble. Do yo think its necessary to cut everything to make sure it's even or proceed with the growth and grooming?

    • @BeardedExistence
      @BeardedExistence  6 років тому +1

      Khemet Bey it depends on what you are comfortable with It May look better if you do it all even but sometimes you don’t have a choice my chin was growing about 2x as fast as everywhere else I just stuck it out even though It looked rough for a long time!! If going through the rough stages will make you decide to cut it all off one day then do the trim if you think you can tough it out then let it grow!!!👊🏾

    • @khemetbey803
      @khemetbey803 6 років тому

      Bearded Existence Appreciate the response, family. I decided to cut the sides to have a balanced look (As much as possible) and leave my chin alone. I figured that I want my chin hair to be the longest part of my beard, plus I have been growing and training it for about ten years, I can't cut it. Even if I cut everything off and have an even beard imma look rough during stages either way🤔. I have attempted to grow a full beard during the same stage I am at now, but my side's were always growing hell of curled up, so my beard didn't look full, and my chin hair naturally grows straight for some reason. I am hoping if I brush my side's while they are low, I can get them match the chin and have a full look versus having sparse thing going on.
