Lunt 60 mm DS2.3 Plus Solar Session 002

In session 2 of my Lunt 60 mm tryout. I put a 2x Barlow on the Lunt. That got me a bit closer to the action. I also had some help from Jack Huerkamp. Between his guidance and my better understanding of the workings of the solar scope. I went back out and was the Sun more than happy to help a newbie out! Sunspots, Filaments, and Promances galore! Some great action and as I was moving around the disk looking at the proms. They would change features or disappear completely. A great time was had! I want to Thanks Anthony Davoli from ADM Accessories for lending me his Lunt 60 mm. Nice small solar scope. ;-)

Hello. Just a question. Were did you put the barlow? Before or after the blockfilter? Nice settup and film by the way.

This Lunt has the blocking filter in the diagonal. The Barlow was put in front of the camera. That would make it after the blocking filter. Hope this helps.
