Got 300 version. Absolutely love it. Top sound quality n design. I reckon chrome metal knobs should be used in future versions. I wasn't expecting continuing wheel movement. Luckily it lights up which is good.

I wouldn’t say it sounds fine. It sounds amazing. But I agree it is “Always On”. Because it is proprietary, it is a plugged in device…I don’t like that, but I will turn on off the microphone and feel better about it
Thanks for commenting. Honestly, these both are used in a different environment. The authentics speaker is for in the home, while the boombox 3 is for outdoors. Both of them have superb sound quality. As far as clarity & crispiness, the authentics is Hands-Down the clear winner, compared to anything else. I am open to doing a comparison video and thinking of adding more content to my channel.

the bass is not overwhelming, if thats what you mean. It is crisp and clear. You can definitely hear the acoustics.
