Our tax $$ are 100% subsidizing their student loans. Something like 30 million young students will have most their loans completely erased from them having to pay it back.
The American tax payers will pick up the bill, against our will...
I mean it’s a private college. Privates can ‘experiment’ and it is only a single college of the whole university. Students actively choose to enter this specific college.

Allot of them described the useless part of their degree
Just like college educated people who have traditional degrees in areas like STEM, law and other pursuits. Even they’ll be paying for the loans.
On the bright side all this workers can feel perfectly safe with their jobs, because they're not having any competition from these guys, with these useless diplomas hanging from a wall.😊

Excuse me, some of us white collar workers are also appalled by this and would also like to rejoice with these other workers. Nobody is paying me back for my tuition costs and I actually add to our economy and am paying for these useless drains on society.

Most people have never heard of those degree concentrations BUT they're expecting the average taxpayer to foot the bill for their wasted four years of their lives!
Actually best degree would be 100% responsibility and accountability of their Bill
My cousin makes more money than I do and will benefit. I got the GI bill so I guess I can't exactly complain since my education was also paid for by taxpayers. I still think it is ridiculous though.
No one has heard these degree concentrations because the students created them. Of course they need to be approved by the college but for the most part for Gallatin it’s all made up, I believe.
@@calvincoolidge1207 But see, you performed a service to get the benefits of the GI bill. There's a difference between you and these clowns in the video.

I would have loved for them to ask follow up questions of these graduates. Like, "What kind of job are you hoping to get with your degree?" or "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Their answers would have been golden!
Universities - We dont care about y’all, as long as you spend the money

I had an IT issue. Called up the gender centre. They told me my gender was the cause of a system outage. I shed my internalised patriarchy and then computer worked fine. Miracles do happen.
They're basically larping as college students. It's like they're tourists at a college themed amusement park.
What is so nauseating is their narcissism and smug belief that these are the degrees that employers want.
I think the fashion industry probably want people who understand sustainability

They won't even want to do that. They will feel entitled to a paycheck just because "they bring the vibes".
Who sold them the idea that there would be a well paying job at the end of their studies? Here’s the problem- these kids were told to go to uni. They didn’t know what they wanted to take as a major, their parents told them to “go for the experience” so they chose this nonsense. their future is not so bright.
They never even considered that there should be a paying job at the end. But they will get mad at everyone but themselves when they find out that meals and a roof over your head cost money that they don't have.
The thing is that they created their own degree. A professor could suggest something but ultimately the student gets to choose and make up whatever they want in this specific college under the university. Of course, excluding gen ed.

My son went to a trade school. He became an electrician. He had job offers long before he even graduated. He was able to pay off his school loans in under two years. He's in his mid twenties and has already purchased his second house. I am so glad that he didn't get suckered into the modern scam that is the useless university degree. The trades are absolutely screaming for people to fill all of the job vacancies open these days. But, most kids are lazy and don't want to actually work with their hands anymore.
The public has been waking up to what you are talking about. Enrollment in the various trades in community colleges is at an all time high. Also, at a lot of universities, the various humanities programs have been scaled back in various ways due to the declining numbers of students majoring in the various social sciences. Another thing that is happening at a fast rate is the closure of small liberal arts colleges in the past few years. 13 small private liberal arts colleges have already closed this year.
I tried applying to electrician apprenticeships as an EE undergrad but couldn't get a response... that's why I ended up an engineer instead.
