- This time at Mettowee off road park a guest brings the most epic Argo I've ever seen. Decked out with ALL the options. This unrelenting force powered though every obstacle in its path.

Awesome! So happy you got to find some challenging terrain!👍😁
Looks like a helluva lot of fun!
I can imagine the wear and tear on those on anything but snow
In my head I heard flight of the valkyries playing at the beginning
Nice to see the mad guards over the wheels. We made our own mad guards.
Mad makes me mud ! ☆
Argo Bob was the man
That looks like a fun toy!
It sure does! Wouldn't mind if it was mine :-)
Our search and rescue team has one, not those tracks though, just regular tracks, they do the job..
That was interesting to see on the rock. It's always steeper than it looks on camera, but still. I wonder how the tires would have done.
Too bad they're so dam expensive.
Probably much better. Argos seems amazing on rocks with tires from the videos I've seen. Maybe some day I'll have him back out sans tracks and we can do a comparison.
If only they had suspension to smooth out the ride and increase speeds they would be the best thing ever?
If suspension components had no weight or width sure! There have been a few people who made custom suspension for these machines, but the extra weight and complexity has always been a turn off for me. Really at the speeds these machines move you can do without. The low PSI tires have a lot of give without tracks.
Who makes them tracks
It is always the spots that do not look so bad that get you stuck.
What tracks on an Argo.
Escargo tracks, very similar to adair tracks.
Where is this exactly
Make me feel better about my machine being a pain in the rump, that Argo looks like a rough rider!
damn i can hear that coot in the back ground
Those little diesels have a very distinctive sound.
The hard cleats can not grab the rock, I bet if he was using the regular rubber tracks they would have pulled him up that rock face. The large hard cleats are great in mud but bad on a hard surface.
Yes no tracks are best in all circumstances. I think unless I knew I was only going to be driving in deep mud the tires on an argo will get them thru most things.
Best tracks
I can't say I've ever seen better, so I'll have to agree with you!
For those that say the Adair out performs these tracks I sure would like to see a FAIR & UNBIASED test of the same machine!!!!!!!!
Until then I am convinced that these will kick the shit out a set of those! The rest of all the hype is just "the propaganda machine." As someone who has hundreds of hours behind the bar of an argo with rubber tracks I think these are the ultimate upgrade...
They really have to be seen to appreciate. As someone who sides on Overkill ;-)
I understand when the maximum level of crazy is attained and when this machine drove out of its trailer I was giggling. My brain can not comprehend how such aggressive tracks could EVER stop pushing forward in mud.
Also impressive was how well they stayed on. I've always been fearful of having tracks come off a machine while being abused and this machine was abused HARD, multiple times the tracks got in precarious situations where they should have derailed yet they always sprung back true.
I can see hooking on to a stump and ripping those bars Out really easily
Cool!
Rubber pads on the tips of the grousers i bet would have worked
Try Adair tracks
Why not climb over the mountain!
I want 1 but I has no money
was this mettowe
It sure was!
That’s sweet. I’ll be going to the next spring fling
They are actually having a 2nd part Spring Fling this weekend 21-22.
I will likely be there again.
Yes they are because I guess not meany people were at the first one or people couldn’t make it out like me lol. The posted a thing on Facebook and yes it’s the 21-22.
whats the knockin sound
In which machine?
Rototiller ride
Fuck man you guys should see where we take these things in the yukon lol
Ruined that crop of tyres by driving over them!
Top speed of 4 mph
Pretty much, but better than a top speed of zero through things some machines can't drive through.
Unfortunately Adair tracks would have fallen off way before even getting to the flat rock. Hype and B.S. don't climb rocks where steel won't.
I am the owner of this machine. I have gone through mud, snow, 30 degrees of ridges of ice, rocks, and slush. These tracks are amazing. They have never come off, and don't heat up the tires. I have fixed a few cleat welds, but over the terrain I have been through, that is to be expected.
I must admit I have never in person or even in video witnessed such abuse of a track system. I was incredibly impressed these held up to the unrelenting torture as well as they did. They stayed on regardless of all the crazy side hilling and gnarly jagged rocks while turning. This video is also only about 1/3rd of the difficult terrain the machine drove over. Not filmed was the 50 degree sandy hill 200+ feet long this machine climbed with ease. Something that was much more impressive than this rock face.
@@TotalOverkillStudios Thank you. It was a total pleasure riding with you. I hope that we can do it again. I am now registered as a boat, in addition to an ATV. I even got my boating certification. This machine rocks.
S Cargo tracks. Good on everything but rock slope. No dig or grip, no go. Two track sets. Rubber and S Cargo.
Get a Fat Truck. They do everything so much better. I know, I own a Argo, Sherp and a Fat Truck. They are amazing.
A dirt bike would handle that rock like nothing UNLESS is all muddy. lol
Stell on rock is like ice rubber do better on that situation
Adair Argo tracks would have powered through those obstacles much more assuredly.
More so than beaver dam tracks? It's hard to imagine how the Red Machine could have done better. The only place it had a challenge was the rock face and even my Coot struggled there (A machine that dominates in rocks)
I dont think so I really dont
I have a set of Adair Tracks , they would not have done any better , in this place and time a winch is needed to get to that location, it may have been possible to run the edge of that gully to crest out after the rock (s) .....but to climb that rock no neither track has the grip to do that .
Sad.
How disappointing you’re driving it on a nice groomed track I hate these mock set up videos
huh?
I've got an 81 6x6 bearcat 399 I'm repowering with a new 15 horse. Just have to install the new clutches ... Just a basic machine. Just a thought I've got a couple 1" drains with boat plugs . Have any of you ever consider putting a small bilge pump as a precaution or no worries ?
Weak!
This comment without context is weak.
