✔ My husband and I started dating when I was 20 and he was 25. We have been married for eight years, we have two children and I am pregnant with the third.
Two years ago I discovered that my father has colon cancer, he is a widower, as my mother passed away when I was 12 years old. My father is wonderful and I can't think of living without him, he is my best friend, we talk about many things, including when I go through a problem. He is my safe haven, he listens to me.
About five months ago we discovered that the treatments weren't working, the doctor said he had months to live. Since then, Dad has only gotten worse and is now losing his memory. One time he looked at the dog he bought me for my 21st birthday and said, what a cool dog, where did you get it?
