Inspired by "Passchendaele" movie and "Battlefield 1".
The Battle of Verdun in 1916 was a protracted and brutal conflict during World War I, fought between French and German forces.
Germany sought to capture Verdun to weaken France, but the French, led by General Pétain, defended the city fiercely.
The battle featured trench warfare, heavy artillery bombardments, and massive casualties on both sides.
Despite the immense suffering, neither side achieved significant gains.
Verdun became a symbol of French resilience, and the battle had a profound impact on both nations and the overall course of the war.
It ended without clear victory, lasting ten months.

I really love this because of how much figures were moved in the backround
Great job!!! It's like Battlefield 1 intro!
It's inspired by BF1 and "Passchendaele" movie

@@ChrisAnimations97 Your welcome
Awesome battle! I suppose there is a lot of compositing with all the shots with many fights in the background ;)
Thanks! Yeah, I'm really intro green/blue screening right now, becouse it give you so many possibilities and makes my animations style different than most of Lego stop motion animators
Awesome! I like Your animation!
Thanks!
These animations are getting better and better
Thank You :D
It was a blood bath for the French but they managed to win the battle at a huge cost
May every French soldier that died their rest easy.😔😔😔
Also pétain was credited for winning that battle and many called him a hero but in ww2 he was a traitor.
chris, for halloween will their be a zombie animation? with germans and americans teaming up?
Nice!
Thanks!
Very good stopmotion love the rain effect you did!
Thanks!
Holy crap this is amazing

Great job! Some of the best stop motion I’ve seen out there.
Incredible bro!!!
Thank You!
You're welcome @@ChrisAnimations97
Actually in 1916 the germans are now actually using the Stahlhelm helmet in the verdun campaign also in the war
(Sorry if it was rude)
This honestly feels a little more like Ypres
But still very good animation
The rain is amazing
Omg, second best ww1 stop motion creator (behind jd bricks). Trust me, you have some talent!
That’s awesome I love the rain and the blood affects
Thanks!
No problem and I thought 200 subs was big you have 20 thousand your a really good UA-camr I’m thankful that there are UA-camrs like you 😎😎😎
holy crap i need to learn the secrets of making this
I felt right in the middle of it all
That's masterpiece!
Thanks!
Can you do a full version of Lego all quiet on the western front and also add a brickmania minifgure or 2 and make a Lego Ww2 battle of Berlin stop motion
This was really good
Thank You!
Awesome video comrade!, Great work!, Rest in peace to all of them.
Great animation !
Thanks!
first
POV when battlefield one matches turn into hand to hand combat with melee weapons and pistol
Hey chris this was awesome! What fps do you use? And also what editing software is used in the video?
Really good but why they using pickelhaube in 1916?
Rain effects look sick, but you should try to improve your movement. It does seem a bit clunky
How did you create the drip effect on the characters?
Actually, it's really simple - I was using water spray before I took every single picture
Could you give me some tips I’ve liked and subscribed
piekne
Very smooth frames, and very well done, however it is very confusing about who is where and who is attacking, and there is no backstory. Overall good tho
Thanks! Actually, it was supposed to be like 30 sec test video and I'm glad to make it a little bit longer
A cool thing you could add in, is if you can't make a trench, for a backstory you could make the French escape from a fort, eg. Fort Vaux, so it is complete chaos as the battle depicts
the film is very well made but at 0:37 a French officer shoots his Model 1892 revolver when he shoots it it ejects the shell casings out the the cylinder which is impossible
It's good but they move so slow also the germans would be using the Stahlhelm since this was in 1916
Jesus man just when you think you found the main character he dies 1:02
reminds me of bf1 intro mission
i died!
and people call the french cowards..
Its kinda slow
Try more frames pr sekond
Way too slow
fighting in heavy rain can be exhausting and would slow down your movement
ah yes I forgot that rain can alter the laws of physics and gravity@@saintjimmy7365
@@saintjimmy7365there is a difference between realistcally slow and cartoonishly slow
@@saintjimmy7365 bro did you learn physics from mcdonald's? Rain doesn't slow you down at all
when it rains, we get tired faster and it's muddy
