I have the burgundy scaled one and I love it. Mine had some blade play at first too but I took it apart and I just had to adjust the one omega spring. Cleared it all up.
That's why I try to be specific about my hand size, to try and help potential buyers know how it fits in the hand. I bet the full size is an absolute tank! You are welcome brother! Have a great day!
Excellent Review of an Excellent Knife. I still have not decided on full size or mini Adamas. I also like having a mid westerner doing the review, always taking into consideration the ergos of the knife with gloves on.
Thank you TopDog! It's true, when I'm working with gloves on I still need to use my knife and be able to do it one-handed. Have an awesome day brother!
With smaller knives I prefer thinner, more slicey designs. Full size the Adamas is fine. I find the 3 inch mark to be sort of a tipping point. Is it small or is it full size? Based on the handle I would call this full size not mini. It may be mini compared to the other model but we need a standard for classification in knives, lol. My only complaints would be that cerakote is the cheapest and trashiest of available coatings. Micro ceramic, pvd, or dlc for the win! Also there is a lot of billboarding on the blade. In spite of that, if it were 150 bucks I would call it a fair buy. A useful look at the knife, thanks BB.
Thank you for all the insight Jack! Yeah, I am surprised they put billboarding on such an expensive knife. I was under the impression that the cerakote was tougher than than. Thank you Jack!
I've read a lot of good things about it! I don't know anything about cerakote, but it sure does look nice! Thank you for lending me the knife! Here's to a great rest of your day brother!
One of the hardest things for designers once they've developed a great knife is to develop small, large & X-large versions. Some knife features don't always scale well. Also if the sizes are too close then knife users may not be able to tell them apart. Ontario does it well with the Rat 1 & Rat 2. The knives are different enough to convince many users to buy both (me included.) WE/Civivi has done well with the Banter. I think Benchmade has done it right here. Full size for field use and small for EDC. Thanks again.
Algorithm bump. I'm torn between the cruwear/black g10 and the magnacut/carbon fiber. Cruwear is my favorite steel but the two are very similar in performance, cruwear being slightly tougher and magnacut being far more stainless. Price not being a factor I'm leaning cruwear.
I wondered if that would fix it in this knife since I've heard it can be a "thing" with Benchmades. It wasn't my knife, so I wasn't going to mess with it hahaha. Thank you orange!!!
I was thinking of buying this knife, but I have seen so many videos of lock failure on it. It's kind of kept me away from it....Not sure why it's happening, but if I bought one, and it happened, I'd be upset.....
I believe they're allowed to have a little bit of play, but like I said I don't really know much about Mitch made at all. Thank you Airada! See you tonight on the live!
I've handled both the mini and the full size Adamas and didn't buy either. Benchmade would likely sell a pile of a medium version. A good example is the Kershaw Natrix which comes in 3 sizes, of which the medium sized one is the best, in my opinion.
I have 4 benchmades including this one. Have never had blade play on any on them and never had a spring break. This knife rocks
Love my mini Adamas! It's the perfect "do everything" knife for me!!!
Tough as nails too! Thanks JB!
I like it a lot. I usually am drawn to bigger knives but I also like little tanks too.
And it is a sturdy little tank.
I'm guessing the regular Adams would be perfect for you. Thanks Proex! See you tonight on the live!

Too small when I got it I knew immediately!!!!! Not by much but the full size is where it’s at!!!!! Thanks brother

Today I’m considering getting a mini Adamas so I’m checking knife review videos. I knew I had to check yours. Great review, Beez.
Very sweet knife, I wish they other color choices.
I know there is an OG version also. Yes, it is sweet Forrest! Have an awesome day brother!
Still haven't handled one of these. Sounds like one 🤔 I should. Thank you Mr Beez 🐝 🐝 🐝
I bet you would like it Marcos. You are welcome sir! Enjoy your day brother!
Yes it is Marcos! I have the Mini, the full size and the auto and I enjoy both sizes.
@@diverson63 thanks man I appreciate the info.
Looks great. I’m trying to decide between getting the full-size Adamas or the mini.
Perfect size. Great edc knife. I use mine for work. Probably one of the best washer actions I’ve ever felt. Insanely smooth. Mines got a bgm regrind
I bet that edge is insane with the regrind!
you should post some pics of the re grind to your account!

Update, I bought the mini Adamas. Yeah its not too small.
It looks just right, allthough i'm liking big folders. It surprised me seeing it in your hand, it seems to fit pretty well. Thanks Beez
You are welcome Jeroen! It's not coming out of the hand, that's for sure! Here's to a great rest of your day!
@@BeezBlades Have a nice friday!

My 940 is pretty solid on side to side and up and down. Nothing to compare it to as its my first Benchmade. Thanks Beez!
You are welcome Michael! I imagine it takes a while to get a collection of Benchmades hahaha. Have a great day brother!
I want this knife 🤗 I have had to adjust pivot torque for blade play.
I can't say anything bad about it. I just want to stick it in a tree hahaha! It's tough! Here's to a great day brother!
That cruwear is incredible. Love the review.
I've read a lot of good things about it! I don't know anything about cerakote, but it sure does look nice! Thank you for lending me the knife! Here's to a great rest of your day brother!
Comment for the algorithm! Great review Beez!
Dude! You are awesome!!
I want to get one of these in the 🥑 colorway to match my PM2, Bugout, and Tactile Turn pen...
Oh, that would look sweet as a set!
I own the mini it’s a great knife I just love it great EDC carry and beefy enough to handle almost anything thanks for sharing Beez
Heck yeah! You're welcome grim reaper! Have an awesome day and I'll see you at the Live tonight!

Well said my friend! See you tonight on the live!
Im not a benchmade guy but if i were this would be the knife of choice for me..
I haven't been converted to Benchmade myself either Brandon. This one is pretty solid though! Thank you man!
Always wanted one mostly just to see what cruwear holds up like,👍
I am curious how it will hold up too. I would like to just cut the crap out of everything and see if it holds up. Have a great day G G!
I think I’d really like one. Thanks for your video!
Awesome! Love that knife!!!
Indeed! It is pretty sweet! Have a great day Josh!
@@BeezBlades you as well amigo!!
Still debating full or mini. I just love this design. Hoping it can be my first Benchmade. Great review Beez 👍
Well, hopefully my hand size helps with your decision 😅. Thank you Jeremy!
U just earned urself a new subscriber, awesome review!!!
Hi Beez! New subscriber, just picked this knife up with your discount code. Thanks for sharing, looks like a beast of a knife 😁
Nice! Dude, you are going to love it! Welcome to the hive Erick!
I need both sizes in my life. Very stout design, second to a fixed blade.
Stout indeed! It just screams toughness! Have a great day Lonewolf!

Good review 👍👍
Thank you Rm!
Thank you for sharing
Love the full size, but this one just felt weirdly small to me.
My preferred size.
I think it's great for everyday EDC. Thank you Harry! I'll see you tonight on the live!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you Michael!!
You can just tighten The Pivot a little bit, Thanks. 👍❤

My 940 doesn’t have any play...
You’ve got the only one.
I believe they're allowed to have a little bit of play, but like I said I don't really know much about Mitch made at all. Thank you Airada! See you tonight on the live!
There's a lot to like with this one for me, but I think I prefer a thinner, more slicey design. Go big or go home!
I can't argue with slicey! Those are my favorites! Thank you Beaverius!

Beez, I also like all my Adamass, I have the Mini, the Full size and the Auto and I like them all! That Auto will Jump hard, ask @EverydayEDC, LOL!
Hahaha, isn't he the one that dropped it on his foot? 😅
You should hook with REC , get us a code over there I’m only 20 min from them 😂😂😂
I'm going back when I get a chance, but the owner isn't big on discount codes or affiliates.

I just broke 940 omega watching this 😠
