This is a really important story today. The division of the Kingdom set the stage for the northern Ten Tribes going into exile for 2700 years. They became Christians but are now awakening to their lost identity as Israelites and returning to the One God of Israel YHWH and discovering His commandments.
Exactly! I believe I’m a decendant of Israël, here in Holland (from Zebulon). That makes me an Israelite, not a jew by the way. 😉 My Lord and saviour died so I can reunite (re-marry) YHWH again. I believe this is the Gospel.
Gosh, if I hadn't read this story in the bible myself I would have thought this was too full of plot twists to be accurate. But wow, this story teaches us so much about our own foolishness, and how easy it is to be given wisdom by God, only to be drawn away from that by your own lusts for wealth, power, and carnal desires.
It is the CONSCIOUSNESS which divides people and which is felt on every level of their being - for we are all, despite our materialized bodies, CONSCIOUSNESS FORMS expressing consciousness patterns and CONSCIOUSNESS FORMS receiving consciousness patterns from others. The consciousness of each individual is their reality - not their skin or appearance - and it is the consciousness of people which either attracts or repulses others.
In first king 11:31-32 tell about 12 tribe but mention only 11 so from where we can know about the 12 one ?? Please let me know because u said Solomon son's get 2 tribe
I was also confused after reading this scripture , but after rereading, I think I’ve got it now. In 1 Kings 11:32 God says (through prophet Ahijah) that Solomon will have one tribe and in 1 Kings 11:34 God continues to say that HE “won’t take the whole kingdom out of Solomon’s hand”, but in honor of David, HE will give one tribe to Solomon’s son ( 1 Kings 11:36).
Go back to Jacob, his two wives and his two sex slaves. The sons that resulted were never a family as we in nuclear family UK and USA understand it. 400 years on, they drifted further apart in Egypt. Exodus tries to establish tribal identities with land allocations in Joshua. Then, c400 years of Canaanisation in Judges with total collapse of Torah-Joshua heritage. Just Boaz family mentioned as remotely YHWH faithful. David came to power in a split structure with Judah (Simeon almost absorbed by then) distinct from the rest. Egypt and Mesopotamia weak after Late Bronze Age collapse. Solomon tried to centralise government and economy on heavy weapons dealing, also to undermine remnants of tribal YHWHism with synchretist faiths on Egyptian lines. Solomon died, Egypt and Syria were rising, economy was centre heavy, non-Judah tribes wanted out of a corrupt, Judah-based, anti-norther Ln tribes government. Think USA rejecting Britain in War of Independence. Subsequent apostasy was additional to the perfectly reasonable rejection of Rehoboam. So, humanly speaking, Israel split because of despotic, anti-YHWHism of Solomon and Rehoboam that had writing on the wall about inevitable collapse
Because the 10 tribes refused to have rehoboam be their king so the went back home where then jeroboam would become their king instead like God had told the prophet to tell jeroboam before he fled to Egypt while king Solomon was still king from my understanding.
@@GentleSerpent there are many knowledge that you are unable to find in Bible, but in Quran book,it show fully and correct. For example, Maria at first virgin and after giving birth to Jesus, she was still virgin. In Quran saying she didn't give birth as biological ways as normal woman. She was helped to have infant from the front navel. This detail all Christians could not find because the True Gospel was corrupted. That's why there was Protestant separately from the Catholic Church. And one more, Jesus could speak when he was just born ,Maria brought him home, many her relatives scolded at her because they thought that Maria had baby without a spouse (in the past, this was considered as a sin). Jesus opened mouth under the God's permission and helped his mother to release out the misunderstanding amongst her relatives.
*10 for Jeroboam* (Israel) - *1 for the house of David* (Judah) and the other 1 tribe maybe Benjamin and they are already inside the territory of Judah with Simeon to some extent. *But God never mentioned 10-2.* 13 However, I will not tear away all the kingdom, but I will give *one tribe to your son* , *for the sake of David* my servant and *for the sake of Jerusalem* that I have chosen.” 31 And he said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself *ten pieces* , for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am about to tear the kingdom from the hand of Solomon and will give you *ten tribes* 32 (but he shall have *one tribe* , *for the sake of my servant David* and *for the sake of Jerusalem* , the city that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel), 1 Kings : 11: 13, 31, 32 ESV But the tribe of Benjamin was with the House of Judah as in: 21 When Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he assembled *all the house of Judah* and *the tribe of Benjamin* , 180,000 chosen warriors, to fight *against the house of Israel* , to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam the son of Solomon. 22 But the word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God: 23 “Say to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and *to all the house of Judah and Benjamin* , and *to the rest of the people* , 1 Kings 12: 21-23 ESV
Why? It's easy, the Kingdom of Israel divided into two kingdoms. The Northers kingdom became known as Israel(also known by other names), the southern Kingdom became known as Judea.
wait my dear something you have missed here. 1king 11: 29 prophet Ahijah was wearing a new cloak not Jeroboam. so prophet Ahijah tore his own new garment in 12 pieces.
God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 26 And He has made from one [f]blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ 29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
Not only incorrect for the simple Bible details, but omits a lot of the Bible story of the period for regional history, politics, and economics. The sort of patronising that, as a child, I saw through and became atheist till my 20s. Strongly recommend Jaques Ellul, 'Politics of God and Politics of Man' for a readable. Non-technical overview of 1 and 2 Kings
Theres no Palestine they have no history and never existed until Romans Expelled the Jews and change the Israel into Palestine which refers to the phalestine
Not one of your best. Solomon was pretty bad from the start. His labour and government strategy undermined the Torah tribal land allocations to centralise power. He made his money by heavy weapons trading that transformed the economy from agriculture to cash and city based. The weapons would be used against Judah-Israel. The Davidic line rise to power was opportune with Egypt and Mesopotamia weak due to Late Bronze Age collapse and Syria not yet become as strong as would happen in next generation. Solomon was, ultimately, anti-Torah in many ways, including as a father. He created a non-resilient nation that divided immediately, and Judah's wealth was taken by Egypt. There must be a way to go deeper and less patronising to children
Yeah, I am an adult but I freakin' loves this series!!! God bless & thanks!
Thanks

Great video
Isreal needed to chill with these golden calves 😅
Nice video
That was so helpful! I read it but this illustration made much more sense
Amen ND Amen
Loooove it🎉
It surprise me that most people put Just Judah in the north, when the kingdom of Judah is in the south
I'm kind of confused what was, the reason why the kingdom of Israel became divided into two?

Can U also put the Quranic version? I would like 2 know how islam thaught about the end of Israel.
Wouldn’t that be in the Quran and not the Bible?

How you obey God? What u gotta do
Repent and believe in Jesus Christ, and submit your life to His Word.

I m also in search of that 12 one how can we find who have taken that 1 tribe ?? Please let me know I m in confused
There is a lot of grey area in “friends”
Issac, half-brother, received a blessing from God. Ishmael DNA is Haplogroup J Therefore 12 tribes of Israel are Haplogroup R.
I'm still confused

What is the name of the God?

Yahuah.
His son, our salvation, is called Yahusha.
He literally comes in the name of His Father.
The story has incorrect details.
Bubbles which ones?
I think I understand what your saying bubbles. The Bible has the precise and accurate words to do justice.
Not only incorrect for the simple Bible details, but omits a lot of the Bible story of the period for regional history, politics, and economics. At 2:49 the narrator says Solomon. Should be jeroboam 1kings 12:10
Wrong allegations against king Soloman
Based on what?
Where are you Palistine !!!
Read the history of Israel now
Free Palestine
Theres no Palestine they have no history and never existed until Romans Expelled the Jews and change the Israel into Palestine which refers to the phalestine
Egypt existed at the time - SO he wasn’t the Richest Ma The Pharaoh, of Egypt was ! So BS
