I love this new spin Amen brothers and sisters. Y'all did your thing. I can't lie. This song was sang at my Aunts funeral on March 6,2024. I fell in love with this song I must say. But to hear this twist on it is amazing and a true blessing. Amen Hallelujah.
John 12:32 (KJV) 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Just a thought...If this is the passage we are referring to in this song wouldn't this mean that we are asking to "help crucify Jesus"? not to mention the next verse: 33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
Although most believers use this scripture out of context. I believe this song is referring to lifting jesus by praising him and worshipping him. I agree with you however he already was lifted up on the cross and is not going back on it again.
@godmadesam as a leader and a follower , it definitely matters. You can't lead from behind. That's uncomfortable for your singers, and if there is no room, then you come down as well. But they sounded good so🤷🏿♂️
@@jreed402able I’ve led worship from the keyboard and I was behind the singers, to the side. That’s why I don’t think it really matters as much as one may think. I’ve led worship from the congregation not standing out front. I have many examples of this & there’s not monolith to how singers must be set up.

Why are the singers in front of the person leading them?
Perhaps they don’t have enough room on the platform. I can dig it though. I don’t think it matters, really.

@godmadesam I've led from the keys as well, and to me, that's very different from this video.
Well every team has their own setup that's comfortable for themmm@@jreed402able
