I'm inspired by this story as a Whipple procedure survivor of 4 years and having been able to tolerate more than half my chemotherapy before the Nueropathic pain was not tolerable. I'm so grateful for my journey and feel a deep empathy for all fellow cancer patients, may your strength uphold and support you.
He is indeed very lucky. A friend of mine was initially treated for an ulcer & it took a while to get the correct diagnosis. She died in September, at 72. RIP Sue.
Thankyou for sharing your story, Ivan Time does indeed matter. We need the symptoms of PC to be as recognised as those of the more well-known types of cancer. Your story gives hope, thankyou :)
Congratulations, I'm so happy for you. Thank you for sharing and giving me some hope, I am going through it now. Not sure what my outcome will be. Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy New year!!!🎉
Ivan is incredibly lucky, the vast majority of pancreatic cancer sufferers like me are diagnosed as borderline receptacle which in reality is a myth, I was opened up for a whipple only to find out after waking up after the surgery that the operation had to be aborted due to my cancer having completely surrounded and invaded my portal vein, I had 8 cycles of Folfininox before the surgery which in all honesty was worse than any of the effects of my cancer and nearly killed me after cycle 8 due to my body not being able to resist the toxins in the folfirinox , I am now on single agent palliative gemcitabine chemo which is really mild when compared to folfirinox but I know my time is limited, the surgeon who performed my operation told me in August 2022 that I may have another 12 months of active life? so let's see what happens?
