I did not know that I was the same age as Jon Provost when growing up. I always looked at him as a role model and loved him in the movie Escapade in ?Japan. Family friendly... Those days are gone forever. PS my cousins who lived on a farm had a dog just like Lassie and if we went near the road she would need us back to the house

So glad to see this!! Loved LASSIE with cute TIMMY (Jon) show. This is when I started watching. Loved “Timmys” prayers that my parents encouraged in our home. I Loved the “mom and dad”in Lassie and still have nice memories. The stories Sometimes scary for a little girl of 5. I only know June Lockhart’s name. My husband met her on plane. He said a lovely, graceful lady as in Show! The Lassie show was not just about Lassie. I loved the family shown; it was dear to me. PS: I made a red (and blue) gingham shirt for my 2year old in 80’s as I remembered Jon wore! I loved the show so much. My little boy happened to look like JON early on which sparked my sewing. Ha! Thank you for pictures and including all of us! Be safe; stay well. Of course, Happy Belated Birthday! Many many more. Just got this now on UA-cam!

I met him at a comic con in Germany. He's a real nice guy.
I talked to him for a while about the show and asked him about specific aspects about certain shows I remember
and told me the details of it.
I asked him if he would take a picture with me and he did it. His wife Lori was with him. Very nice woman.

Every show has something to learn about. Lassie was like a Teacher. This show was perfect. Timmy was always so kind and sweet. Watching all the shows during the Pandemic has helped out a lot. Thanks

I'm 46 years old, and I just started watching Lassie a week or so ago (not in order, just random episodes). It's pretty good! I never even HEARD of Jeff on the show til I watched the story of Lassie the other night
An older Timmy Martin looks an awful lot like Ron Howard

I was randomly thinking about Lassie today and wondered what happened to Mr. Provost. Looks like he's living a nice, normal life. :) What a great birthday tribute to your friend. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I was Cub Scout in Pomona at the same time as Jon. I remember being at a Blue and Gold Dinner where Jon was at the VIP table wearing a crisp new uniform. He was beaming and I got the idea he was enjoying being a kid if only for an evening.

You know what, after reading several comments what i need to say is going to hurt me that much more than it already will. Itoo grew up watching Timmy and Lassie, it was usually on after school let out 3-4 in the afternoon. I grew up with two brothers one two years older and one 10 years younger, he was born the same year we landed a man on the moon and safely brought him home, or rather shall i say them since there were three of them, It goes to show some of man's achievements that to this very day amazes so many folks around the globe. I believe the number of trips was 06 times placing 12 different men on the moon .My older brother went into computers , he was there from day one in the big companies and accelerated to the very top at John Hopkins , he was the man if it had anything to do with the computer system he was the guy, world wide, my youngest brother, being ten years younger had it's advantages and not , he wasn't quite sure what he was going to do with his life after high school, he did find his place as a policeman baltimore city police 25 years now , me my life was pretty well pegged out in the 6th grade i knew the direction i needed to go , medicine. My teacher and long time friend asked my mother if he could give me a ride home one day because he wanted to talk to me about my future, i said sure i wasn't expecting the news that he gave me it kind of blew me away a bit, he said the IQ test we call took a few weeks ago indicated that i had an above genius IQ , my mother said this explains why he never opens a book at home and gets straight A s, the fact is they were no challenge for me at all they were boring, my father said well Ann which side of the family did he get this from, my Dad was a gov. worker an instructor for many years and then later a writer wrote text manuals on anything the military had, m,y mother , the kindest soul i have to date, ever met worked in a shoe factory and later sold electronics for sears. so you see i come from a perfectly normal family, by the way i am now a retired physician. What i need to say, doesn't come easy , by complete accident one day a few months ago i was surfing the internet, and landed on an old episode of Timmy and Lassie, i was alone in this over sized home my wife was shopping , we have a maid but this week she is visiting with her grandchildren , the house is a little more than my wife can handle without help, there is so much dust in Florida it's crazy, the doorbell rings i pause the screen and answer the door, it's a friend he comes in and we sit in my den for a few min. small talk and that was about it asked how i like retirement told him not sure yet. Well i might as just go ahead and say what i need to say, i have found by accident that everything we see visually on the internet or TV has been corrupted, i searched for three days and couldn't find one thing clean completely clean, it dates back to 1953, what do i mean by corrupted? the mark of the beast satan's mark is in everything we view , either small figures shaped like a demon or full bodied dominic figures, in news clips where there is large gatherings of people pause the screen and look closely at the people, 2 x magnifier, you are not seeing things they are not all human beings , saw my first one on timmy and lassie the episode where timmy was run off of road and landed in the hospital, his parents are in the waiting room waiting on the doctors talk on his condition, look directly behind them in the flower bed what do you see., still think i'm nuts, i would like for Jon Provost to contact me i need to ask him if he remembers seeing any of these anomalies while making the videos episodes, many of them were actually touching him so it appeared. Folks there is a reason you can bet that this was done in all of our visual, media, it's all hidden in plain sight, one single website had none, self reliant, a man builds buildings in the middle of nowhere in the forest by hand alone Self Reliant, why is he different than everyone else , he seems to be a very honest hard working man , he makes some amazing buildings, log cabins , other than him everything else including religious programs has been corrupted as far as i know . one more thing has anyone else seen what i am seeing ? i have my ideas on why it was done , and why some of us are now seeing it , i can't be the only person that has noticed this. it is pretty blaten, this is in all the episodes of timmy and lassie, i checked plenty of them to know . 15 of them , excuse me if i am incorrect ., i mean no disrespect to MR. PROVOST i have not even told my own wife don't want to scare her, i have asked other respected members of the community to double check my findings and it is conclusive, or i would never say a word.

November 8th 2020- the first morning of my &*@$#*& Covid quarantine, I turn the TV on and there's Timmy and Lassie fighting off a mean neighbor trying to shoot virus-infected livestock. I'm next! Yes, Timmy and Lassie saved the day. Thanks Jon. :)

I wonder how his kids and grandkids feel about seeing their dad as a kid on "Lassie?" Are there any kind of videos where the kids might say if they liked the show or not
