I love the honesty and I’m sorry this was advertised that way! I think the Arabic part was to give credit to the musical elements that had a very strong Arabic touch to it (mixed along with Kuthu). Hi, I am from Tamilnadu. I visited Morocco in 2009. I stayed in Rabat-Casablanca and visited Tangier & Marrakesh by train. Casablanca Mosque is stunning. Waves of Atlantic Ocean in Rabat looks dangerous. Tangier beaches are neat and clean. Moroccan people are so fond of India. Moroccan people are beautiful & friendly with tourist. I really enjoyed 5 days in Morocco. Though Travel was hectic ie. Chennai-Abudhabi-Cairo-Casablanca.

If they didn't promote it as Arabic kuthu many people will get offended because the music clearly has some Arabic vibe to it. actually halamathi habibo has a meaning but mostly it's gibberish. The music director just wants the Arabic vibe and Arabic music mixed with kuthu. It's about the music not about the lyrics. If they didn't promote it as Arabic kuthu many people will get offended because the music clearly has some Arabic vibe to it. It would have been culture appropriation if they didn't promote it in Arabic.

Hm u guys should know this is an Indian Tamil film and it's important for them more than others as they are the ones given priority...the song has a mixture of Arabic and kuthu(tamil tunes) few lyrics were a type of Arabic and even the video was almost Arabic...u cannot completely keep the lyrics in Arabic as it's mainly for tamil audience more so understand it...and the lyrics are understandable only to the tamil ppl who know it...anyway thank you for seeing it
