I listen this raga from R and S misra v Joshi pt jasraj and ptd v Kumar but ustad Rasid Khan ji what a singing . Igo to sleep at11pm but Ido sleep at 3 Am after listening this song and other raga of ustad ji Iam 62 years heart patient.
I am an addict to listen to the songs by Ustad Rashid Khan. Raga Kaushiki Kanhara sung by the Ustad is brilliant.

What is the aroh and abroh of this raga and what is the taal of the first song?
kawlin07 It is Vilambit Rupak, a 7 beat cycle.
Same aroh as malkaunsh Sa gak ma dak nik sa... The add of PA and Re are more used in coming back (avaroha)... The use of phrase ré gak ma ré sa is famous to this raag.... Slight andols on gak and da k give characters of Kanara... Ma is definitely the vadhi of this raag... The stop on PA is very little, short compare to darbari kanara raag..... My. Humble knowledge about this raag wich is one of my. Top 10...

both have same notes the difference is that one follows kanada ang and other follows malkauns ang
