Sorry for your loss luv, ❤️XxX, just playing this now remembering my own mum who passed 7 years today July 29th this was one of her favs and we also played this song for her with others at her funeral too, can still see her in the kitchen dancing and singing to this as she was cooking when I was growing up,great uplifting song to remember the great times 😊God bless

Our Mums had good taste in music, I have similar memories of my Mum dancing in the kitchen. We were singing and dancing while this played at Mums funeral and it just felt so right. Thank you again for your message, it touched my heart, take care xxx
Impossible not to cry with this song, too beautiful and voice just wonderful, I was just a 7-year-old child at that time, today I'm a 41-year-old uncle, which nostalgic...
Ich bin 54 Jahre und es war damals eine verdammt gute Zeit und keiner kann uns die niemals nehmen ,ich will auch niemals tauschen mit den Jugendlichen von heute, weil wir waren damals die Helden.😊
When this song came out I was 18. Played in every night club and all my friends cars. Every time I hear it, it takes me back to happier, carefree days.
Love this track & all the positivity on the comments section. This track takes me straight back to high school circa 1987. The track is alongside bros, hugh & cry, wet wet wet, and so on. I hope all folks from this era are still out there, solving their problems, but, most of all, having fun. We thought those days would never end. Sadly, they inevitably did. Anyway, stay positive, strong and focused. Much love, from a 48-year-old in West central Scotland.
I never met her but I always imagined her to be full of fun and energy. Not the limelight craving person who has to be centre of attention all the time.
Who was to think in the future wed look back at the 80s with puppy eyes and wish to be back listening to bangers like this , what a time the 80s were man

Now when i recall that It seems to be the best time in my life , after so many years , stupid but it's a true ... Sorry for errors .
This song is sparkling with positive vibe, very dynamic and lovely. Superb times to live in and enjoy life. The atmosphere from 80´ies and 90´ies was so optimistic and beautiful. It became part of my being and will last for a whole lifetime.
@@bioshock6935 The 80s was incredible for music. There has always been great and not so great songs. This never changes and I have been a musician since my first guitar and then piano. Stock Aitken And Waterman (SAW) wrote shit loads of great songs. Even '''I Should Be So Lucky'' was a very well written song. Even if you don't like it it doesn't change the facts 'cause many people loved it. The 80s brought about the use of synths with 100s of sounds stored in their presets. This gave so much colour to songs the The Beatles certainly didn't enjoy and these synths soundscapes were easy to access at the push of a button.
The vibe of 80´ies and 90´ies music was like a fresh wind. I had been in the "magic" age at that time. I mean - the teen period then the yearly 20´ies in personal grow up is a kind of a "magic" time period. Discovery of the world, reality, finding friends, like and dislikes in own life, search for a partner, finding own purpose, job, shaping own reality is a thrilling time, has its own energy level and hunger for more. Growing up in 80´ies and have the fresh music energy from then was a great background. Back in 1920´ies when Jazz took the world that phenomenon back then energized people to a new kind of to be together and ejoy time together. It was a fresh wind from Jazz back then when the good time together got a new shape. 50´ies and 60´ies music got a new "BANG" with electric instruments added. 70´ies, "BANG" experimenting with electronic instruments. Big movement in societies. Then the 80´ies and 90´ies, my "magic" age. Then 2000 end now, explosion of the amount of music creators and a time where music genres get mixed and create interesting hybrids. The quality in sound recording got so much better in the last 20 years or so, too. The vibe from 80´ies was so friendly and like a never ending party time for me. Stumbling forward with excitement, affection and discovery.
It's funny, as the 80's was peak cold war - going to school on the bus we joked about the 4 minute warning and knew that was how we would die before becoming adults. The optimism is in response to the oppression and fear.
Say what you like, but this song is so positive and helpful particularly for anyone who has ever felt uncertain about the past, present and the future. Today is a gift.
