This song literally saved my life - in the late 80s, I was suffering from undiadgnosed severe clinical depression, but every time I heard this tune, I got the mental strength to continue - I am now 58, and as fully recovered as one can be fron this affliction......
Same thing happened to me in my teenage years, during the Disco era! The power of music is enormous. Every day was like "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life!"
I'm 49, living at my mum's, lost everything and I have to start all over again. But there's only one way and the only way is up. Keep your head up wherever you are and whatever you're goin through, the only way is up
Love this track & all the positivity on the comments section. This track takes me straight back to high school circa 1987. The track is alongside bros, hugh & cry, wet wet wet, and so on. I hope all folks from this era are still out there, solving their problems, but, most of all, having fun. We thought those days would never end. Sadly, they inevitably did. Anyway, stay positive, strong and focused. Much love, from a 48-year-old in West central Scotland.

When this song came out I was 18. Played in every night club and all my friends cars. Every time I hear it, it takes me back to happier, carefree days.

It's funny, as the 80's was peak cold war - going to school on the bus we joked about the 4 minute warning and knew that was how we would die before becoming adults. The optimism is in response to the oppression and fear.

Gracias por los momentos maravillosos de hoy y siempre 💕
