Are there even that many jobs that pay that high? I suppose it's doable if a couple have two semi-decent jobs but that's not counting any other expenses.
You know im getting sick of this for far to long this goverment has been failing to do its job I belive its time for a complete reset from the top down.
Our economy is going better than it has in years! Business know this. It's called price gouging and companies are doing it all over. It's called capitalism. Please tell us what "the government" can do about free Enterprise.
@@LLCCHOW The economy is in shambles and alot of these houses are being bought up by mega corps. One of the governments jobs is to keep mega corps in check.
@@LLCCHOWit’s not price gouging it’s printing money and over regulation of the economy. Your boy Biden is doing a lot of work to prevent the middle class from living and regulate the middle and lower classes
This is really interesting. I am from the UK and house prices were i wanted to buy (south coast) went up abiut 30-40% between Start of 2020-- Summer of 2022... I was looking at houses there in 2019, ended up just buying a one bed flat instead in 2022. The Covid years were like a Gold Rush in the Property market, crazy times
We’re incredibly lucky that we bought a house in 2013; if we bought today, when home prices have more than doubled here -in a small town in Maine!-we would never be able to afford a house, not even the house we’re in now.
The current homes in the price range which my home was are now considered "gut jobs/flips". My home's value has doubled in the mere 5 years thst I've owned it. Crazy! Hundreds of new homes have come/are coming online. They start at $225,000 on small tract lots. Crazy again! We, and ither outlying areas, are getting the overflow of home buyers priced out of the bigger markets.
I would love for you to do Greenville South Carolina. It is growing so fast! And tons of people from big cities have been moving there (along with lots of businesses) for over a decade.
So, basically, you now have to be a highly-successful doctor or entrepeneur to buy a house.
Remember: 'you'll own nothing and be happy.'
Stop doing their work 🤡
@@Cadence733 the ones you're parroting
Good luck affording home insurance in Florida on top of that
A toxic trait of mine is looking at houses I can’t afford…. in states I don’t live in…so much time just pretending like I could
You are not alone.
Average price in my area (Toronto) has gone up to 1.1 Million for a detached house. Imagine over 100,000 for a down payment
Just wild.

Certainly not. I only know San Jose well enough to comment and very few are making 186k x 2 if both working = 372k
Hrmm... i wonder yyyyyyy?
I can't make it through. Horrifying figures!

Where do these numbers come from? Being from New Orleans you can’t live in the slums for that little lol.
Way to go Democrats. This is on you

Pin maybe
Woohoo
I can tell in San Antonio 89 thousand a year would get you a home in the hood. 135 thousand will get you decent home in a decent neighborhood. 🫣
