Dope Podcast as usual, it was nice to see Trayze and Spydatek drop some production content knowledge.

"if your mad at the opener for burning you your bags not deep enough"
I hate it when people say this because the depth of my bag has 0 impact on what the crowd knows. If you have a crowd of 21 yr old white girls and the most impactful songs they know are no hands and 15 Taylor Swift songs and the opener burns those then my two decades worth of music knowledge isnt going to do a thing for them.

I wonder if the new wave of classic party tracks being popular might inspire some of the newer djs to start hitting up record stores more often for rarer edits.

For the JaySpring comment. At my open format gigs hes 1000%. You can throw any throwback at them and they're here for it. Now, hiphop gigs on the other hand. I've never had Crowe engagement this low. At any given weekend theres like 3 tracks they wanna hear and when you play them they dont even care. Like they will line up at the booth to beg for them and go right back to their phone when you play it. Also NOONE will wanna hear that track again in 2 weeks.

Someone please inform me how others get paid on platforms such as Patreon or Bandcamp for using other artists' published music? Is the game to create a pack of remixes or edits and sell them inexpensive to not attract attention? I'm interested in getting paid for my remixes/blends/mashups whatever your term.
There has to be a legal way of doing this because music companies know about this.
    Please enlighten me.

Thank you Trayze for confirming that there is a grey area for this game of selling mashups. I hadn't finished listening.

17:24 the curse of the producer. You have millions of tracks and never put it out. Time flies and ideas become less relevant… put it out mane!
