I learned parrying because of him... Crucible Knight - Elden Ring

After dozens of death I finally gave in and learned how to parry.
Far from perfect but effective enough for the Crucible Knight!

I find it funny how you learned when to parry but still tank most of the hits waiting for it. xD
If you learn when to dodge and when to commit to a parry then you've mastered it.

For ground slam attacks, it's better to just jump. It works for a lot of bosses.

You are right, still waiting for the right moment to parry, but hey, I managed to kill him. :)

So, there are several things that help. For me it was looking at the hands that made a difference. And probably the Buckler Shield, since it has the biggest time frame to parry.
There is a video from "Arekkz Gaming" called "Elden Ring - 7 Tips to Become A Parry God & Dominate Bosses". This helped me. Good luck to you!
