@@rbrand6588 For several reason: their store lacks a lot of features, bad security, epic is really bad about buying/paying for exclusivity on their store - especially right near when the game would release on Steam. This crap they are pulling is not helping the gaming community at all - it's pissing people off and getting people mad at them and the devs/publishers that are going along with these payouts. Just proving that those devs/publishers care more about payouts then happy customers.
@@rbrand6588 I don't really "hate" Epic even with the bare bones launcher and the weird Chinese ties, I hate these kinda of deals where they simple pay for exclusivity, PC gaming was never about that, if you produce or develop the game and have your launcher, ok, for example: Origin for EA games or Uplay for Ubisoft games, but to simply pay the publisher (and that money don't get to the developers or even consumers), get the game only in your store and don't even sell keys in other places because you can't compete with your own merit? That's anti-consumer and a d*ck move...
