    I love these interesting new approaches Justin Stoney always takes. The Vocal World Tour was another great, fun and interesting episode series. It's so easy to understand the things he explains, cuz he manages to explain the science and the technique with lot of ease, much better than most other on UA-cam.

    Justin, Thank you for all the incredible insights and helpful exercises. I am passionate about singing and have been trying to teach myself for 20 years now. Progress has been much slower than I'd like because Im usually poor, and the few voice lessons I Have bought taught me inferiiatingly little, and I just having gotten much out of your fellow UA-cam teachers. You on the other hand teach So much in so little time in a really fun and engaging way, even while being anatomically informative, I mean every video blows my mind. I found and have been watching some of your older videos in the past couple weeks, I wish I'd found you all the way back then... but I am SO grateful to find that you are still doing this. You're teaching style is really special man, your voice certain my isn't your only gift. Myself Ive developed a huge and fairly resonant and very cathartic vocal style, that many people find amazing, But honestly, I have very little flexibility and my voice hurts after just an hour or two of singing. I cant waited to learn how to get the tone I've grown to love without damaging this favorite part of myself. Keep it up, you are the freaking man Justin! Also, I love the humor you've been adding with your Marlin character, its pretty dam corny, but your charisma makes it totaly fun and charming. Once again, you are like the freshest breath of air to a suffocating artist. Thank You So Much.

    Hello from Russia! Thank you for new video! :) I watched part 4 of Vocal register tour but I can not sing flagolet. When I go higher in my falsetto or head voice I stuck at D#5 when my neck muscles absolutely strained and larynx at highest position. Justin, Is there another way to achieve flagolet?

    Fantastique Justin ! J'aime beaucoup cette façon de s'inspirer de la nature et des animaux pour un travail vocal.Mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi le "Neigh" pour le Chaval. Pouvez-vous m'expliquer ?

      @NewYorkVocalCoaching  4 роки тому

      Hi Naat! The "neigh" is for the sound that horses make! :) We're so glad you like this episode! -NYVC

      Oh wow! Here at the NYVC Midtown Studio, we will have to let Justin know that he’ll have to tone down the attractiveness! Thanks for the feedback Jessica! LOL - NYVC

    hik-hik-hik... yes try it
    I know VOICE MAJORS NEEDED to SING 50 SONGS BEFORE THEY CAN GRADUATE DURING THEIR RECITAL
    The first time I practiced singing
    After singing one song I said OMG
    Here goes another one perhaps if I had an audience that time they would say the same thing but I got used to it and sang 3 CDs in one afternoon and got better and better, but not with out training.

    Quick question for the coaches -- is there a strong link between fundamental frequency of speaking voice and vocal range? Or is it a loose association?

    • @Celatra
      @Celatra 7 років тому +1

      NibiriaGaming completely loose association
      -high baritone who speaks differently depending om the mood, can go anything from D2 to A4 and vocal range is C#2-C#6

  • @Celatra
    @Celatra 7 років тому

    Justin, do you know why I always strain on the "neigh" exercise? it feels like the notes get totally wrongly placed and I feel tongue tension, why is this?
