To answer all the questions of "why is Jenny homeless?", "where are her friends and family?", "what happened?", etc.:
The amount of dedication this team has is absolutely insane
How is it that one scene with no dialogue from a fan made short had more heart that half of the new shows out in kids entertainment?
This is how a reboot of the show should look like ITS SO GORGEOUS it would work perfect
If this is what the full fan series is going to look like, I'm excited.
XJ9 has more humanity in her big titanium heart than the entirety of Tremont
This animation almost feels like a sort of look in the future for Jenny many years after the series. Like I always wondered if her mom ever died what would Jenny really do? Her friends are much older, the world is changing fast and life as she remembered is far gone
The Animation looks so Crisp and very Smooth,It almost makes me think that we should get a Paramount+ Revival of My Life as a Teenage Robot.
So amazing! You captured the style of the original PERFECTLY! I'm guessing Jeeny was put in status with her memories wiped clean, only to wake up in a post-apocalyptic/crapsack future where she is trying to remember who she is and rediscover the world around her. That would be a cool reboot idea.
When a UA-cam channel creates a better reboot and continuation for an old show than Nickelodeon lately
OMG THE ART DECOR STYLE TRANSLATES SO WELL INTO HD. Amazing work. So worth the wait. The animation is so fluid!
If MLaaTR ever got an official revival, I can only hope it looks half this gorgeous.
I love how Jenny’s eyes are reflected by the lights in her eyes, it’s been decades since I seen her for so long after her show got cancelled. 😢
I like how the animation stays faithful to the original style, while still being beautifully fluid.

Very smooth animation and accurate to the look of the original series. I can totally buy as being Jenny's first time interacting with a non hostile creature. What will really make this interesting is when/how she learns to speak.
wow what a wonderful and beautifully animated short, even without dialogue i can feel what jenny's feeling. great work all around, the team did fantastic!
This looks like one of those nostalgic cartoon shows that becomes a movie reboots. The detail is incredible.
