Absolutely gorgeous. I live in Malaysia and it’s tropical so no winter, but lot of rain . Any recommendations for plants to grow in rainy season please
@Aji Nana, Thank you So So much :-) I am from India and tropical here too...but in Winter (Dec-Feb) we get less rainfall though...can you please let me know the temp in Dec to Feb? Definitely, I would be able to suggest few plants :-) And, please add your reply in a new comment as UA-cam doesn't send any notification for nested comments, I really don't know why they don't :-(
@Usha Madhu, Thank you So much :-) Actually, I already have video on Cineraria plant with updates...but video was not good enough as I recorded everything while talking too fast :-( I would try to do one more....but if you don't have issue with fast talking & bad pronunciation (I still need to improve a lot though), you can watch it here - ua-cam.com/video/LVM6-4OC2HM/v-deo.html Thank you :-)
@Ambika Haridas, I have mentioned this thing in the video...anyway, all can be grown from Seeds except Bougainvillea. I get seeds from Amazon, Trustbasket and SeedsnPots. Very soon I would upload one more video showing which seeds I used and I would also share the results, thank you :-)
@Rashmi Gupta, Almost for all plants, I have individual video and there I have shown everything...but for some plants, I am yet to upload videos and I would do ASAP! Anyway, I would do another video on Soil preparation too and upload ASAP, thank you and I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir :-)
Sir, i bought mixed color gerbera seeds online. Now can i sow the seeds directly into pot or i need to prepare seedling first and transplant them each in pot?
@Amrita Gupta, Well, we can grow directly in pots...but preparing seedlings separately is ideal as different potting soil mix is used usually. To sow the seeds, very light soil is used. I do it this way - 80% Cocopeat + 20% Vermicomost. It's also done for another reason as well - Transplant only the healthy seedlings :-) Anyway, you can do as you prefer and I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir, thank you :-)
@madeeha farrukh, Good Evening :-) On Bougainvillea, I already have one video where I am covered almost everything and here is the video - ua-cam.com/video/QyY1zwpRj7s/v-deo.html I hope you would get all the answers there and I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir, thank you :-)
@Naseema Khan, Ha ha...good question :-) Last year's plant...this year, I am yet to start :-) Just made the soil ready and almost 160 pots are ready :-)
@Renu Rai, 7:16 - Yellow flowering plant name is - Thryallis Golden Shower and 7:54 - Four o' clock. If you are referring to other plants, please let me know :-) Thank you n I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir :-)
@Vadde Radhakrishna, I don't collect seeds actually and I would also need to buy for this season...you can try any online sites and would get whatever you want to grow...
I don't this these plants can growth outdoor in east coast in USA in the winter time , maybe somewhere else in warmer climate in other countries during winter time , but they do looks beautiful... Please when you mention WINTER... YOU NEED TO BE SPECIFIC WHERE IN THE WINTER ...WON'T WORK WHERE I LIVE WHICH IS VERY COLD IN THE WINTER TIME . THESE WON'T SURVIVE .
@Minh Nguyen, I am sorry for not mentioning this in the video...actually referring to Indian winter time and in my place temp doesn't goes below 45°F at night during the winter time. So, all these plants survive and bloom well. I am aware about the thing you are saying...and I can see that whatever we grow in Winter here, most of them are grown in Spring/Summer in very cold place. Anyway, from next time I would be more careful and would mention it. Again, there was an error in the Title - I wrote, 7 EXTREME Winter Flowering plants...my bad, I was actually trying to say - "Plants that bloom a lot in Winter"...but from my Title, anyone would understand it as - "Best plants for Extreme Winter". Sorry again for the silly mistake :-( I have fixed the issue and removed "Winter" word from the Title n now it's perfect. Thank you for watching and have a great time ahead :-)
