Had to come back to this after years, first exposed on DubstepGutter way way back in 16'. Now going on 24 years old, I have a lot of introspection, and this melody has never failed to make me feel a sort of hope, but also melancholy. Absolutely beautifully written.

Lossless compression (zip, rar, flac, png) is way of cutting down on size of file while keeping it *intact* so it can be reverted to its original form, while lossy compression (mp3, jpeg) is using methods to *remove* some data improving compression but this sometimes results in lower quality.
Some people prefer to use lossless audio because of the best sound quality, while some may prefer different formats (ogg over mp3) but converting from one lossless compression codec to another may lower the quality even further because of the way different codecs remove parts differently.
