As for Coke Studio, Rohail Hayat is the magician and pioneer who deserves all the credit for creating something that has always been synonymous with quality, innovation, and excellence in music. Well Coke studio Pakistan recordings are one shot live take audio and video. So any bad mistake means they have to start over. Yes the editing and mixing is done later and things can be corrected there to a point but in general things like keeping time properly and stuff has to be pretty close to correct in a live session recording. But as you see that takes time and effort. There is a reason why we have a 2 year gap between CS14 and CS 15 from Pakistan. It requires more rehearsals and practice from the performers and staff.

Am Canadian Pakistani, I heard few songs of bangala CS ,music is amazing ,I also heard few bharat CS songs they are just ordinary, if something is extraordinary you know it from your heart ,there is always room for improvement, bharat CS should work on lyrics n look for some new voices

Spot on, the Bollywood movie sound is and always has been far ahead, unique and enjoyed globally, including in PK. Since PK couldn't compete on that front, it developed and moved ahead on the pop scene, starting with Nazia and Zoheb to Vital Signs, Junoon, Strings and then Coke Studio, Nescafe Basement and now Velo, Kashmir Beats, Pepsi Sound Clash.
They are different sounds and on different paths.
I appreciate and love both for different reasons.

As a Pakistani I dont believe the two Coke Studios are in any kind of deliberate or conscious competition. The perception of a competition has been created by the listeners on both sides of the borders, and fair enough, Pakistani and Indians tend to do that as both want the music produced by the CS brand by their country to be the best. The reason perhaps Indians may have felt Coke Studio India has not met their expectations is due to the overbearing influence on them as well as the music industry of songs being produced by Bollywood. I think CS India is trying to create music that is different from that produced by Bollywood and perhaps needs to be seen within that context. Coke Studio Pakistan does not have any significant or similar competition within its music industry, which is not meant to take away or belittle the incredible work they are doing. I am a big fan of CS Pakistan. But the two franchises of the Coke brand are operating in ecosytems that are completely different.

Talking about those round round shaky notes in these songs, few of them may have some extreme or over use of auto tune but, seems like bro has never listened to the singers like Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali and yes the king Nusrat.
