Gris charnel is a love from the first sniff. The fig note is prominent in my skin. The mixture between the cardamom and sandalwood is amazing.

Kate, I sometimes feel Amber fragrances lean more masculine (although I love unisex) leaning. Does this one you recommend here lean unisex? And what are your fave Amber frags? Could you do a video on that? And perhaps even one on your fave notes. You are so descriptive that you transport me into the bottle itself!!! ❤️💜❤️
Thank you so much! Yes I completely agree, sometimes Amber fragrances can lean masculine. I’d say Ambre 114 is completely unisex, it doesn’t lean masculine at all. Some of my other fave Amber fragrances are Dior Ambre Nuit and MFK Grand Soir but I think both of those fragrances lean masculine x
Yes, Grand Soir is so beautiful but I literally could not even in the dry down I felt like I was smelling my husband! I’m interested in Amber Nuit as well and Histoires and don’t know which to pick…suggestions? Also what are your thoughts on Musc Ravaguer? Is it really vanillic as people say or just super spicy?

I have Oajan and it does smell like cinnamon Apple pie but I also get a Baklava pastry smell as well sometimes. I’ve been wearing it in warmer weather and it seems to come off dryer.

what lotions or body creams do you wear with these scents?
Because these are such powerful and distinctive scents and quite a few of them are woody I tend to wear an unscented body lotion so that they don’t compete with each other. I only really mix scented body lotion with either vanilla based or fruity fragrances! 🥰
