That looked unreal!!! The weather wouldn’t worry me hey, not for that line up of musicians! Live music in the background was great 👍 I’ll be going one year for sure.
We went in on Monday after getting rained in on the common. Arrived sunday too from CBR and ended up on Vella Street. Was a great experience and the kids had a ball.
@OutdoorsCBR opps meant Tuesday as monday we were marooned. A fair few ppl left monday afternoon when they opened the gates for a little while but we were going nowhere. A lot had to wait for the tractor and grader to pull them out. All part of the experience.
Thanks Joel! Ah that's awesome, they're a great van. Has been perfect for us so far. Enjoy your travels. Have recorded at least one other vid, just need to get to editing
Nice! You'll love it. Such a cool setup. I did several mods in the lead up to the trip. Filmed a lot of stuff too. I'll definitely make a vid of the mods and how it all went when we get home.
Agree with u on that haha. Would be awesome. But no didn't see a motorbike or quad cruising around. Pretty much no vehicles are allowed to drive once parked up.
What a great insight guys thanks very much! The weather can certainly change the whole experience, looks like you made the most of it though! The concert and camp is basically on a clay pan right? Its amazing that stuff when it gets wet, sticks like you know what to a blanket! Spare a thought for us when we were stuck in the desert a few months back! Some of those muso's are getting on aren’t they, good on them getting out there and performing for the people! Great video! The kids on the boards were pretty impressive! Happy travels 😊
Cheers Simmo! Yeah camp was nuts in the wet. Can't imagine driving through like you guys did on the Tracks Oombulgurri Trip. Can appreciate it even more now. Yeah they all still knew how to work a crowd. They all sounded so good live too, no duds.
Wow what an awesome event. I've never heard of it but it's now on my wish list for sure. That fuel line up was insane. How long was it 4 or 5 days? Great video Lewy thanks for sharing mate. It was a good workout for the new van.
Haven't done a video on the Patrol. Other than a rear drawer installation video. The car is a beast. Very practical for towing especially with a roof rack, rear drawer and 2nd battery.
Thank you for taking us along. Love from us who are not so mobile. Much appreciated. ❤
👌 glad you enjoyed it. Thx for the comment.
Awesome 😊
Was a lot of fun out there!
Excellent video! That looks like major fun. Maybe someday.....
Thanks for tuning in to another video. Was a cool experience
Looks ripper! Adding this to my bucket list
Yeah mate do it. Hell of an experience.
Great video of BRB! What a way to start your 3 month holiday
Thanks Lynn! Yes agreed, meant that we had to get a long way north very quickly. A great event!

Yeah, the weather was an adventure in itself. Worth going one time for sure!!!
Looks like the kids had a blast too. Thanks for the vid.
Yeah they had fun in the dunes, camel ride, heard live songs that they had heard on Spotify 😆 Good times.
Did it last year and will do it again, the most amazing atmosphere and unbelievable location. You will never forget it.
Agreed. We'd go back for sure.
Great vid mate. Really looking forward to following your trip! Safe travels.
Thanks mate. Will try to make a few videos for the channel along the way. Instagram account has daily clips.

Oh wow. Was the common chockers Sunday night? What time were you allowed in on Monday? Yeah was a great time out there hey.

@boxheadmr oh wow. Yeah I agree that the whole rain and mud thing added to it!
I really enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for your tips too. Looks like fun!
Good to hear Kat. Thanks for watching. It is a lot of fun. Very well run event and some incredible music over the 3 days.
Well done guys, looks like you had a cracking time. I’m up there next month for the races. 3rd time, I won’t learn.😂😂
Ah awesome. I assume that is an awesome event aswell?
@@OutdoorsCBR yeah it’s not bad, prob more of a big weekend on the piss with the boys.
@@aguyandhistroopy sounds like a heap of fun haha

@@OutdoorsCBR I'll be getting my patrol in a month or two as well love to see a mods vid on ya van and y62. My setup will be identical haha

Confirms my commitment never to go. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the area and plan to, just not at the same time as everyone else.
Def not a good time to see Birdsville and surrounds. But everyone leaves pretty quickly afterwards.
Looks unreal mate, plan to get out there next year!
Yeah it is worth the trek out there, if you don't have to rush too much.
Can you use a quad to get around? That would be the go !
Agree with u on that haha. Would be awesome. But no didn't see a motorbike or quad cruising around. Pretty much no vehicles are allowed to drive once parked up.

That looks like a great concert! How long was the drive from ACT??
Was a long way! 1850kms-ish. Left Friday afternoon, arrived Sunday arvo.

The music acts are 3 days. But you can opt to arrive up to 3 days early and leave upto 2 days afterwards. Yeah it's a good time out there.
Did we miss your Patrol review?
