Absoutely beautiful ! I learned how to groom mine at home. ( took Puddlz to get him his first groom he was just over 4 mo old just as i walked in one of groomers yanked on a dogs ear and screamed at it " stand still ! Poor dog yelped) i left and took Puddlz with me. Never went back. Spent a small fortune on clippers,# 10 blades, scissors, slicker brush, comb, cooling spray for clippers, grooming table. But well worth it. He was groomed every 8 weeks i was slow at it at first, but never nicked him or hurt him in any way. Goodness how he loved being groomed.
Great groom .. I am not a professional but have been watching UA-cam videos for years and do my babies myself. I picked up a lot of tips in this short video. Ty❤️❤️❤️❤️❌⭕️
Kayla, could you please let me know what cordless sheets you are using? I have a Cockapoo that is anxious during the grooming process and would like your advice on which cordless sheers to purchase. Thank you. Dave
Hi Christie, I’m thinking very seriously on grooming my cockapoo. I’m loving the way you groom and I intend to follow you on UA-cam. So, can you please tell me what toolset you use. Thank you 😊
Teddy his groomer Kayla have a trusting relationship to be sure. He and Kayla could do a commercial! LOL. My cockapoo Chester and his groomer Angie had the same relationship many years ago. Angie said Chester was a dream to work with. I think Cockapoos tend to be that way, if their humans are good to them.
Hi Linda! We would recommend getting 6" or 7" scissors. For a cockapoo, we'd also recommend getting curved scissors and thinners, just to make sure the coat is blended nicely. Let us know if you have any more questions
Dear Kayla, I have a lovely Cockapoo but am a pensioner and cannot afford to go to a groomer. PLEASE help if you can and let me know what I will need to do it at home. It will save me a fortune. I am doing without things myself to afford her grooming every 6 weeks. Her coat grows so fast. Many, Many thanks. Jan
Hi! So Kayla used a 30 blade, which will leave around 0.5mm of hair with a 4 comb attachment which is 13mm - there's a great guide here for the comb guides that Kayla uses: christiesdirect.com/wahl-8-piece-metal-comb-guide-set.html

Can you give the details on the blade type and the attachment lengths in mm please? Not sure what number 4 means 😂
