"Im Cured of Hep C after 6 different treatments and battling the side effects for 24 years" God Bless where ever you are Stacy..I was thinking of you the whole duration of the Harvoni treatment and Im saying I did it for the both of us (Huggs).. Hi Stacy,I just got my Harvoni kit via UPS today.Probably take my first pill tomorrow.Pretty excited and a bit afraid too.I went through the interferon hell about five years ago,and with my luck it was for nothing.I tell my wife and friends that I am sick of being sick.so I hope and pray I can rock and roll through this thing so I can enjoy some more and longer life.i really like your support and hopefully I do not have any bad side effects like with the nasty interferon crap.and I pray that I might finally be cured. Thanks
My beef with big harvey, is my stomach always feels like there`s a lemon in it.Have to keep food in my gut just to tolerate it.Plus my temper has changed for worse.I find myself getting angry like 3 X as much.I`m on the 5th day of it and not a happy patient.Having said that,I am willing to pay the physical nausea and emotional price of the drug if it will take the bad, V word, from my blood. Luck to everyone dealing with uncle Harvoni.......Try thinking of it as if a not well loved relative coming to stay in yer home for 8 or 12 weeks and how happy you`ll be when he`s gone...Peace almost forgot,,,,Thankyou Stacy
so grateful for people with you with courage do things like this for people like me. i am in the same situation as you and am starting my first pill tomorrow. it took me 11 months of appointments to finally get my little package in the mail. i start tomorrow and thought i would get online and see if anyone has posted anything so i have watched all of your videos just so i know what to except. keep posting and maybe i will post my treatment for others out there
Stacy, thank you for all your honesty and sharing. It is a pleasure to listen to you. I'm glad that you're doing well and that you are so upbeat and positive. Having said that - don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day now and then. I can't imagine having gone thru treatment if I had a 2yr. old and a 10yr. old to take care of. You are one strong lady.
Just got my meds from the pharmacy yesterday, very anxious. thank you for the heads up. Ill preys for you for me for everyone who is goin through this. Stay positive and GOD bless .
hi stacy...my name is Bijan, Im 34, and I have hepatitis C, actually I am Hemophilic and I diagnosed with hcv about 20 years ago, by infected blood(factor 8)...u know I got treatment 2 times sinnce then, with Interferon and Ribavirin but Ive got no cure at the end..I had terrible times during those treatment periods.the side effects were horrible,2 years! 2 freakin years....but now, im gonna try again with Harvoni, I ve watched your videos and I shoud say thank you for that, u know im freaking out about another treatment but they say harvoni is way way way much bearable than old treatment. ..I hope its true....thanks again for uploading this video, and I do my best wishes for you...wish me luck
I have been listening to your posts and they are helping me. I am starting my tenth week of treatment with Harvoni and I am still feeling sick, my liver hurts alot. I think I may be one of the 5 percent that it doesn't cure. It touches me to hear you because I can relate to everything you have said. My family has helped out financially but they never come to see me or call I am in this completely alone and it is a hard burden to carry. It is never easy to face our mortality especially sitting in a room by yourself. I would appreciate it if you would pray for me. I am hoping the hep C will be gone when my Dr. tests me after the treatment but if I go by the way I feel i do not think it is likely and if that is the way it goes I guess I am okay with that but it would still be nice to have someone to talk too.
Amy Brent I'll keep you in my prayers that you get approved for the medicine soon! Please check out the description in my 1st video. It has a links to a few websites that might be helpful to you. Like Gilead and a few websites that give financial assistance for co-pays. Stay strong!
What scares me is that it has only been out for two years which is hardly any time at all to study the medicine and its effects. Yes that is great that people are getting back blood work showing no virus, but what about after stoping the meds. Will it come back. The docor can not say because if the meds have only been out two years and it takes 5 years off the meds for it to come back. I don't know if I should do this or not.
Thanks for sharing your journey. I can relate to you so much. Hope everything has been working out for you. I hope you have been cured but if not, I hope you can get another try at curing the hep c. I know there are even better medicines than Harvoni for those who are hard to cure.

I'm starting my treatment Tuesday. I'm so nervous and lonely. My parents don't understand. I'm 20 years old and i wish you could talk to me.
Brooke Medley where did you get the meds? I hope to get mine from Greg Jeffries. Really stressed out since being diagnosed.
