To put it into perspective, the Shadowlord from FF11 being part of the alliance raid would be kind of equivalent to Ultima Weapon (and specifically the FF14 design) being added to something FF14 related in a hypothetical future FF MMO.
I mean, if you want to take the crossover events as serious/canon, some of the FF11 event cutscenes seem to imply that they tie the two universes together. So, it's entirely possible that it could be the _real_ Shadowlord from FF11, ironically making FF14 the true FF11-2 that 1.0 was trying to be.
@@ShermTank7272 i mean it was.... they wanted to make a same universe ff mmo and have similar looking races, you could have even did a "transfer" of your ff11 character in ff14 and would be made to look like the ff11 character with first name , and the last name being the server you are from.

I really hope they use Stormblood for a later Ultimate. There's potential between Zenos, Yotsuyu, and Shinryu for a cool fight and storyline, imo.

Solution Nine. I need to know what it is, and why it's in the Source. The theories are wild. Just the existence of it has changed the entire feel of Dawntrail for the better, in my opinion.
The Shadowlord from FF11 is a big deal. Final story boss of the base FF11 game, and he's probably only a minor boss of the raid, so I'm expecting Kam'lanaut and Eald'narche to appear as well, which. The REAL treat will be hearing some Soken versions of the FF11 songs. I'd give my left arm for a Soken/Uematsu collab on the OST for the rais.
Considering they already referenced Shattoto via the BLM quests/Mache, I'd not say no to a new cover of Awakening, though the Record Keeper one was pretty fire too.
Then again, it could also just wind up like the Dalmascus raids, where they just reuse the music of FFT/XII, and it's just a replay of all the 'greatest hits' of FFXI music without change.

Imagine if they make a meme of pictomancer and its using Photoshop layers as an inspiration which translates to having dimension hopping attacks. They are on different "layers" making the attacks exist and not exist in the same plane of existence but still having effects. That is going to be funny as heck, but I know its not going to be like that.

Don't take this as indisputable fact, But Arthars and Xeno met with Mr Ozma at JP fan fest and they asked him if there would be 2 Ultimates, to which he replied "of course". There could be some misunderstanding or something, but my guess is we'll have 2 just like in Endwalker

Given the insane amount of QA ultimates require (its why thordan got delayed back then-due to covid they had to choose between ultimate QA and like.the QA for everything else because the QA team took the longest to move to home offices and well,the choice is pretty easy at that point) I think they tend to not be too confirmation happy on ultimate releases,as a lot of stuff can happen when it comes to testing them.

9/10 for how excited I am, as a FFXI vet who plays XIV, to see Shadowlord. The only boss who'd get me more excited would be seeing Promathia, who is basically Zodiark.
I've heard of a lot of fun stuff that FFXI has, and of the unbeatable bosses that had to be reworked. Imagine if they bring Absolute Virtue into Echoes of Vana'diel

Seriously, though, as an ultimate-tier glamour addict, I am really stoked about the 2 dye channels. Especially hoping that they let you dye the mask on the Sophist's Robe separately from the robe itself, for reasons....
Looking forward for the new Ultimate. Cannot wait someone asking for Fru so I can respond with a "yes?" (Because friends of mine are calling me Fru ("Fru"lk, "Fru"ctis, ...)).

Not gonna lie but I havent seen such a big cultural impact a class reveal had like Pictomancer. The amount of memes and people being so happy about a class was staggering, which is ironic, because Dawntrail has been lukewarm until the full trailer.
honestly, Pictomancer really caused a divide.
you got 1 side insanely happy it became Pictomancer (which I guess for the sake of being done with hearing "it'll be green mage! Krile received a 4 leaved clover charm! it has to be green mage!")
but it feels super out of place, first impressions is not good for me atleast, Viper looks alright, I won't main it and likely just get it to max and be done with it, looks another Reaper to me, which I didn't like Reaper to begin with, I do like it's more Zidane inspired, but at the same time, I kinda wished it wasn't a melee again, we got plenty of melee's in the game already, we don't need to increase this amount, honestly, a caster+phys ranged would've made more sense, but I digress.
Maybe Pictomancer has good gameplay, who knows, but so far, i'm not hyped for it and i'll get it to max, unequip the job permanently.
the memes has been good, although they kinda missed an opportunity of not calling the buff cactuar jacktuar.

Pictomancer feels super out of place, even in the area's that are colorful (which they no doubt picked specifically for the job trailer)
imagine the more grey area's and then out of nowhere "COLORS EVERYWHERE" doesn't look great.
@@DarkDylloni think its perfectly intended for it to stand out alot, when you're a painter job, its a "fun-vibe" job not an edgy vibe job, so saturated colors are right in

Imo SB was the best expansion for the endgame content.
as much as Iove FF14.., this trailer is the by far "the weakest" of all FF14's so far..

even if its supposed to be more relaxing & slice of life too, its just way less impressive & hyping (non-FF14s will not get interested at all..)
