Such a shame so many fans spent so much money for it to be a void game after 10 mins due to a red card 🤷♂️ stuff like that is slowly killing the sport if it continues 10 years from now it won’t sell out
Massive congratulations to Northampton, I'm a lifelong Bath fan but I find it so hard to be upset about this result, we've come so far, but Saints were a bit better on the day and deserved this win, and I think the whole Bath team can be proud of this season regardless. Well played everyone.
Thought Furbank was immense when he moved to fly-half. Their attack started to click again. Need I say more about Hendy? Brilliant player. Congrats to Saints on the win, and well done to Bath for nearly doing the unthinkable!
Thought the exact same r.e. Furbank at full-back. The man is a wizard in tight spaces. I remember doubting him when he started vs Ireland in the 6Ns but boy I ate my words that day too. He could be a massive key for unlocking England's attacking game going forward. I had no skin in this game but as a rugby fan I was blown away. I'm not sure how the URC final will live up to that! Congrats to both Saints & Bath - incredible game!

Was my first ever visit to watch a game of rugby and it was a belter.. Bath unlucky to lose but the determination they showed after losing a man.. Was a joy to watch and a beautiful sunny day !
As a Leicester man, I was supporting Bath. But congrats to the Saints, they dominated all season. Good drop goal but it's no Freddie Burns in Tigers vs Sarries in 2022 final minute drop.
Shame to have a red card - I hope it gets turned over as would like to see Beno for England on tour... However, the worst decision of the match surely was making Hendy man of the match after about 13 minutes of total play... He's a very good player, made a great break but for Saints, Furbank, Slightholm, Freeman and Lawes were way more deserving... Personally, I would have given it to Underhill who for me, was the best player on the day. Spencer was a close second... but would not have begrudged Lawes getting it - fantastic player and a great bloke
this is so correct, however, he came on for way longer than 13 minutes, my motm would be underhill or du toit for bath, they both were on form, hendy gave a try away as well, not sure what they were thinking with that.
Based on this game, I'd say Furbank, Freeman, Smith, Coles, Sleighthom, Dingwall, Langdon, Mitchell, Davison, Iyogun, Stuart, Ewels, Underhill, Spencer, Muir, Lawrence, and Hill should be added to the England training squad.... Unfortunately, I think Cokanasiga, Pearson, Barbeary, and Hendy won't make it....

Tough call indeed for Bath at a crucial moment. Knees on the ground should be an awarded tackle whether the ref calls it or not. These ripping phases need some clean up from world rugby imo
@@wlk2408 Not correct, if the defending team infringes after time is up, the attacking team still gets to continue, otherwise the defence could simply intentionally foul to end the game.
Except it all happened in an nano second and I didn't hear the referee yell "Tackle" which is generally how it happens across the rugby world. If we want the game refereed to the minutest detail then there is a more of a case for saying the ball was then played by a player in an offside position because the ripped ball appeared to come off the other Northampton player.
