Lovely sounds from the (DVT) Driving Van Trailer Class 82 & Class 67. Nice capture of Colas Rail Freight 56113 just a pity an GWR arrived but decided to depart quite quickly. I see the broken down GWR and my train arriving.
OLE on the GWML to Cardiff is definitely one of those things I didn't expect to see in my lifetime, and even more surprising is that it's spread up many of the Valleys too! I'm used to seeing the logs train at Carlisle (thank you Leslie Gilpin), but didn't know there was a similar train operating through Newport. Where was it going, Matt? Great camara work, btw.

Nice pics. It’s also quite interesting to see that almost none of the vehicles were electrics, albeit the apparently well developed catenary system.
