Destroy and Recycle-Another Chapter

- Another week another video. I was shearing constructional steel, girders, a few times, then we had another load of the Kirklees Council bins, despite being £40m short on their budget, all blue steel bins are being replaced with plastic bins. There are a few short clips of our wagons tipping, I also strip a couple of machine tools with the Sennebogen grab, using the four tonne ball to knock steel off them, this is all part of preparing cast machines for the breaking pit. At the end I’m force greasing the Copex with a pneumatic greaser as I’d spotted a minor problem with the autolube, which we fixed easily, fortunately, this was yesterday, Good Friday, usually a public holiday but one that we always open on, it gave me chance to do things that I otherwise don’t have time to do, including spending five hours pressure washing the Copex shear, all 196 tonnes of it, I succeeded in transferring the dirt off the shear onto my face. For those people wanting more of the older machines, the Jones crane and the Foden dumptruck, well, they haven’t worked this week.

First scrapyard ever that I have seen where they know how to use a broom and actually clean their equipment. ;)
Do you know the channel scrap yard Miami?
It's ful of rubbish
@@christianmittasch8972 I watch them too. Before the new man started on the crusher, I was shocked how he was nearly stranded by fallen scrap around it. If there were an emergency and he had to run, no way he could have. The new guy keeps both sides cleaner now.
We can all see you guys take pride in your work, great job!💯👍👍
It's really amazing to see how well maintained your equipment is. Everything looks clean and new. Great job!

Those litter bins looked pretty much ok to me. I wonder why they scrapped them? Waste of money, from what I can see. You sure did get a face full! That thing you were taking apart with the ball, do you take all the wiring off it for the copper in it? Great video Mark, thanks!!
Just like Miami, ok not quite. haha, lol 😂
@@marcelw223 haha! Night and day for how clean Mark keeps his yard. I could watch his crusher chopping that metal all day long. Never fails to cut.
Yeah, I pull off what I can, any left on the cast part will be cleaned off in the breaking pit.
Prix les heures
