I must say that the story follows a typical Jamesian style narration and in my opinion is definitely fiction. Only an avid reader of Montague Rhode James can spot that its written by someone who is also well versed with Mr. James' writings. No wonder that the author is from England as Mr. James is a very well known horror author there.

Nice sir. What I want to know is that what happened with that haveli? Is it still there and still haunted? I saw 1 haveli in androon Lahore. The owner's name (Hindu or Sikh) is still engraved in the wall right above the entrance gate. And while I was sitting in a house right opposite of it, I surely saw somethings there.
