this is just so accurate I'm a millennial and believe me this is exactly how I present in our classroom. I do believe this is like the best version of a teacher to be honest mixed up with the Gen x. So you're not being diabolic, but you're still expecting kids to put an effort into their education!

It's a different way of teaching that's actually proven quite useful and good as long as you do it right. Main thing is that you divide your kids in better learning groups and check their progress while teaching. (And of course you use small games etc. between lessons to repeat done of the stuff you've learned.)
Gen X/Millennial (They can my year Xennial because there’s a gap year between gen x and millennials. I identify with both the gen x and millennial teachers in the video.
Gen Z is absolutely right about boundaries; Gen X is right about not putting together weeks of work for vacations. We used to get tons of requests to give finals weeks in advcnce so parents can get an early start on holiday vacations. We now have a policy no early finals, vacations are not excused absences, one week to make up the final in January when we come back.
(Tell us you had Gen X or Gen Z sibs & are like them without telling us.) Gen X & Gen Z have boundaries and know that "No" is a complete sentence. Millennials are easier to work with, but I worry for them! BTW--good on you for having boundaries!

@@cmm2145 I want to tell everyone about someone amazing. His name is Jesus. He loves us so much. First Corinthians 15:3-7 tells us that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead. He did this so that we may be able to enter Heaven through him. All you have to do is put your faith and trust in him, accept him as Lord and savior, and follow him. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son that whosever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life” God is so good. Jesus is coming very soon. There have been signs of him coming. “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24. There are earthquakes, floods, wars, rumors of wars, evil, and wickedness happening right now. These are the signs. Jesus will come any day, you don’t want to be left behind. The tribulation will be like nothing you have ever seen before, and it’s not good. I am warning you, get saved before it’s too late.

I feel very attacked. 🤣
So I think I am a combo of gen x and millennial teaching style 😂😂😂
Me too
Xennial
Septober 28rd cracks me up on the board!!
this is just so accurate I'm a millennial and believe me this is exactly how I present in our classroom. I do believe this is like the best version of a teacher to be honest mixed up with the Gen x. So you're not being diabolic, but you're still expecting kids to put an effort into their education!
This is spot on! GenX teacher here-I feel for you millenials. You seem to have gotten the worst messages. Also the GenZ… too funny. It’s wild teaching w all these gens in the school.
Dang, how do you know me so well🤣
Xennial teacher here... that felt way too accurate lol. After almost two decades they keep trying to train me to be like the Gen Z teacher here and undo all my original teacher training/expierence... >_
So the kids in the gen z class will be less prepared the all the other groups. What a world
Actually, the gen z kids I've had are some of the highest achieving students, and also the ones most quickly snatched up by companies for employees. They're the most intelliigent, empathetic and amazing people I've had the honor of teaching.

It's already happening in the county schools where I'm from. Luckily, my kids are in city schools. They believe in homework daily.
That gen x with the fan tracks. Really.
I'm loving the Gen X teacher's approach.
Oof I can relate to the Millennial teacher scheduling a conference. I gotta learn how to set boundaries with my students haha!
My Mother was a "Silent Generation" teacher - and would completely agree with the Gen Z teacher: Homework is disastrous to education.
When I grow up, I want be like gen z 😭😅🫠
I'm a Millennial but can represent each of these depending on my level of tiredness.
Haha - as a millennial, you’ve got me pinpointed. But why am I lowkey more impressed with genz than any other group in these examples? 😅😅
😂😂😂
I am a Millennial. I laughed too hard at the truth of this video.
I guess many of my teachers were Boomer teachers.
The background music bothers me...
Millennial here- absolutely NOT. No way. Nuh-uh. Not close.
(Tell us you had Gen X or Gen Z sibs & are like them without telling us.) Gen X & Gen Z have boundaries and know that "No" is a complete sentence. Millennials are easier to work with, but I worry for them! BTW--good on you for having boundaries!
@@vickyintexas3358Nope. All of my siblings are also millennials. But yes- boundaries are important.
I'm a millenial mentored by gen X-ers and I click really well with my gen Z colleagues who seem to cope better mentally.
The gen z teacher is hilarious! I truly hope they aren’t really like that.
