Ah yes, valley my second home Also a few tips for valley: 1. Rush spawn immediately when you spawn, you are less likely to get spawn trapped and die to snipers as you rotate as a result. 2. Use at least commander headset or use sensory stims, they allow you to catch rats easily as most of them will only be using the sj16 helmet anyway 3. use assault rifles with low recoil, with high accuracy and fire rate, they allow you to easily take out enemies at close and long range. T951 is my personal pick for budget and T03 for full send 4. bring smokes and self revives, they will help you recover in case of snipers 5. Never run out in the open, use trees for cover and do a 360 scan every couple of minutes to make sure there isn’t an enemy trying to ambush you 6. Avoid villa unless you have a squad. The bots will screw you over and it is hard to defeat them without a team. It also makes it easier for the enemy to third party you. 7. Mark down every sniper spot possible on the valley map. That way you can clear these spots for a safe rotation .
Another tip: Always bring 1 abandoned shack key, because the abandoned shack can use as extraction but need a key for it for unlock and it can save a lot time from being ambush or running out the timer to extract

The damage on shotguns is very inconsistent because of the way the game simulates a dynamic buckshot spread, where most games just use a single projectile with a big hitbox and some effects to make it seem like you're shooting multiple projectiles.
