- DMZ Season 3 is offering up some new opportunities to solo players, so I decided to run a couple of solo stealth sniper missions to upgrade some Contraband weapons at the Workbench. The stealth armour plate is a game changer for Solo DMZ players

I only play solo and and I'm not as good as you 😂 it's rough. That medic vest helps a lot though when you're downed. I love it. Great addition
First time I played solo I escaped 2 6 man teams only to be fully downed by AI next to the exfil chopper
Kinda wish you invited that guy that was coming to exfil to your squad when you downed him instead of killing him

I usually do solo on ashika. Its almost always better to hide or run from other players. I've won a couple 1v3 engagements and a single 1v6, but I almost always loose. The rebreather and ghost plates make running and hiding much easier. It is also quite intense to hide and listen to the players hunting you; DMZ turns into a horror game.
Also, I usually try not to kill other solo players. Down and invite.
Agreed. Playing solo is about survival. Hope to run into more players like you
my first ever weapon case was the best ever, it was a 6 man team, i was a solo, it was a zaya observatory exfil, the 6 man team had the case and i pushed thinking it was a 2 man. i pushed in got them both but i made sure the coast was clear and picked it up but as soon as i did that i noticed the bodeis didnt dissapear and then an ltv with 2 people pulled up with a turret so i sniped the guy on the turret then proceeded to iso the driver. there were 2 more, the exfil chopper arrived i camped a roof while i plate up and as soon as i did i saw a sniper glint from the other roof abovr me and heard the ladder so i dropped from the ladder as the other guy climed up and killed him then i exfiled leaving the other guy clueless. that was my first and best ever weapon case exfil.
building 21 solo is a real horror game. I had no choice but to camp a corner after I heard a squad coming up a staircase. Managed to down two but I had no plates and the last one killed me. Almost shat myself when he rushed in.
I've never even killed 6 players in one deployment, gg on the 6v1
I remember my first 1v3, getting shot at tryna get vehicle from dessert, player shooting at me decided to chase me, I took cover over a sand hill, waited; downed him . Ran to near by Hut, scoped the friendly revivalist , he ran I chased him and we had battle, I knocked him. Crawled back towards the first kill, and his third butt buddy was trying to revive him, snuck up for the finisher.. and started talking mad shit!! Lmao LMAO love DMZ hope it stays forever
I’m surprised you don’t use a spotter scope and use the thermal option to find people around the map. No glint and you can see people on the thermal from across the map! I always equip one when I go in to dmz and it helps find people so much faster
if you havent finished the scavenger calling card mission, dont loot the dog tags of enemy operators. The scavenger will replace those with the calling card. It shows up as a red circle on the map when the calling card has been placed on a dead person. Also don't drop the calling card. its bugged and you cant pick it back up.
They need to encourage player interaction that doesn't involve killing somehow. Otherwise it'll always just be shoot first, and we might as well be playing Warzone at that point.
This aint a hold-hands-kumbaya game. Ya'll need to stop treating DMZ like it's a PVE game. It's an extraction shooter mode with pvp elements. People can choose to be friendly, that's why proximity chat exists. And the fact that player alliances is based on a fragile trust between strangers is what makes the whole thing fun. There will always be risks.
My squad came upon a solo at a buy station. My man was just zoned on that menu for like 3 minutes solid and came out to 3 players aiming at his head. Sent multiple invites.....he backed away, so we left him to it. He tried to exfil camp us a minute later -_-

@@Zharina I think what he's referring to is how empty the PVP interactions feel since it's often unprovoked and leads to no tangible reward other than a dog tag. Additionally, DMZ players have a habit of prioritizing the PVP aspect of the mode even though those same players say it's just an aspect when they seem to play only to grief other players. I think there should be a system that provides more of an incentive for PVP based players to interact with each other more often than people that are new to the game or simply need to complete scavenging missions. I know this might be hard for you to comprehend but not everyone likes seeing a cheap battle Royale disguising itself as an extraction shooter experience.
@@LOL-kq2dd nailed it. When you’re pvping against people who aren’t trying, you’re just being an a$$hat. There’s not skill for you to beat people who are genuinely just trying to be friendly or run away. I push pretty much every squad that I see in dmz, but you get a quick sense of why they are tying to accomplish. I’ve also rode to exfil 11 deep because we have a 5 man team and down most of a 6 man team that finally got someone in comms range who said they were just doing a mission and weren’t trying to fight us and we just were wrong place wrong time. Anyone who claims iTs PvP is just being a griefer and there should be more in the game to penalize that behavior.
as a solo i always bring Spotter Scope with me. You can get Stim EVERYWHERE so not worth bring them from the start.
Spotter scope can help you quick scan surounding in Thermal Mode, and its have very clear picture , unlike Thermal Scopes
Ya I was running to exfill and found a ghillie guy hiding in the bushes from two different snipers on both side, life saver
That’s where a spotter scope comes in handy Westie. 😉
Also, you could have sent a friend request to the guy with the LTV at the final extract. Gives him a chance and makes things interesting.

Solo DMZ is the best way to play. Solid video Westie!
I love the workbenches if for nothing else than being able to go in with no guns and grab any old gun that an AI drops and upgrade it in-game into a really solid gun that if I die or whatever then so be it but at least as a solo player I have way more of a chance to survive early and not risk my more prized contraband guns. Throwing a suppressor and a holo site on a plain gun turns you into a hero real fast lol
The chimera blue print on the ghost sector from battle pass looks absolutely mint
I've seen many people say this in the comments, now i will have to check it out!
Hopefully it's not ruined when changing attachments (lets be real it probably is 🤣💀)

Did a stealth mission yesterday, the stealth vest make all the difference, people try to hunt you with vant, and they just can't
Until they have a comm vest and you appear on their advanced UAV
Once you down a solo you can send them and invite. No need to feel bad. Just let them join you.

If you can loot that means they’re already dead and as a solo they would be squad wiped and removed to menu. So no, not possible to invite at that point hahaha
That medic vest works very well on downed teammates and also revive pistols omg instantly revive people with the pistol but also you receive full downed teammates under 30 seconds it’s insane
The revive pistol on dmz is instant even without the medic vest

the spotter scope is definitely nice for spotting people at long distance and the thermal makes it a bit easier plus it has no glint so if you don't really care about stims id recommend trying it out

I wish solo DMZ was more a pvpve experience and trios/quad DMZ was just ur team vs ai like a co op experience and both modes can have different missions for more reason to play
That's big facts bro sometimes I just wanna spawn in with my crew and clear the entire island of missions and bots it's fun cause the boys can get crazy but then sometimes I wanna have other players there to fight over the loot boxes that get airdropped that makes for fun gameplay as well

Westie you should do pistol only. It's actually really fun to do. It's also a good challenge. I recommend the p890. If you do this challenge then I recommend putting a suppressor on it. You should also never put a laser because bots can detect lasers.

When I see a solo fighting heavy ai I try to help them out a bit then ask if they wanna team up
Seen him pass up on that stealth 3 plate on the towers where he killed the 2 players in the second infill and I was screaming at the phone knowing it won't do anything lmao
Next time i suggest u use the spotter scope with thermal it is really useful i can see people from across the map with it

That pyro boss is absolutely insane! Riot shield and dragon fire shotgun, haha. Nice little surprise when I walked in the room, he downed me in 3 shots and then thirsted me before I could self. Definitely need a team to kill him.

I friggin love being a solo ghost , it's intense and I always grab the 4th exfil for an intense final battle with other players..may the best players exfil .... 😅
The spotter scope is a necessity in dmz solo.....that thermal option is just a pure hack hahahaha.....spot them before they even know whats hit them.😂😂

Was literally all I’ve been wondering since I’ve watched him do it all the time. I try it on Xbox and that doesn’t work. Lol glad it finally got brought up.

I do play solo and since S3 started, it's been me getting moped up by AI in approximately 5 minutes. I had a decent ending to S2 but S3 has been hell fire and brimstone raining down on me.
Solo DMZ gets my heart pounding the second I spawn in.

A lot of three man teams, possibly from warzone, just camp a decent spot and hunt players - that is their game. Only way to fix it is to make mission rewards more significant.
"Solo DMZ is good fun" - well yes it is :) But it is also brutal. I mostly solo and I am probably rocking a 66% exfil rate. So many times players hunt for the poor solo. Also, my trigger finger is now happy because of previous interactions so I am probably missing out on opportunities to group up. But solo is better than random fill atm because a lot of the time I group with people with no missions selected you are just in for the pvp. I like pvp as an essence of dmz but I am here for the missions and contracts.
I would have at least tried to invite that solo player you killed on the last Exfil chopper : if he didn’t except it than yeah smoke him . That was cold blooded bro
Solo in DMZ is fun…now. It used to be awful. Managing to swerve AI and get a 3 plate; only to be taken out by a solo exfil camper on the Sattiq radio tower was a memorable low point.
Spotter scope is essential.

I still don't have secondary slot open for weapons and I played for months now :D, I only play DMZ cause I suck and like to shoot bots, but even I got some kids in the train today:) Some f us are not gifted lol. On top of that mortar mission was bugged and some stuff is just way too hard..
14:46 your challenge “predator” tracked the progress for killing 3 operators, did the mission keep that progress? I was thinking of trying to go for that mission but I can’t tell if reads as 3 ops and 150k in the same match, or those can be done in different matches as long as you infil with no weapons

Hey I have a question. Hoe do you remove or steal an enemy's backpack after killing them? I play on console and I cant scroll thru and click on the pack. Just loose items, but every video i see they are able to remove it😅 any tips?

If you like to solo pvp you really need to go in with the spotter scope.
There's another new boss, it's called the Pyro I think he only spawns on fortresses
me and my friend were in said city yesterday and a six man killed both of them and i had to 1v6 clutch i killed 5 of them than ran for the res on my boys with were surrounded by tier 3 ais

How do I get to solo missions.. I hate that team bull, were you keep getting killed and start over
Praying to the dev gods that they add pleading into solo and total team wipes... Especially for solo as people I think are somewhat used to killing a couple on a team for safety and letting them plead over.. But for solo you get no chance of that
I know it ruins the velocity which is probably why you don’t use the explosive ammo but you would be a serious problem for any team with the one shot capability ☠️
I think for his play style, explosive would be far better
