And the pass itself is free, just like always, if you want more out of the game you gotta pay. But no one’s forcing you to, just do the free one..
I am not very okay with it especially putting a second Victini as a reward despite Victini being free already through Special Research. At least it is not the shiny debut.
@@flamingwrecker2598 GO will never have a shiny debut other than Meltan. TPC will only allow Niantic to issue shinies that have already been debuted in the mainline games. Meltan is the only exception because it's pretty much exclusive to GO. It was made for this game and can pretty much only be gotten and transfered by playing this game.
There are like 50 odd rewards, I think, lots of candies and incense, I will tell my honest opinion if I think something's bad, but these rewards look quite good, it's not a forced paywall, I think it's actually quite balanced for a change

A small overlooked detail is that some Pokémon (confirmed by the Niantic trailer) will only be available via the Tour Pass. Zorua, Meinfoo, Pawniard, and Vullaby (I’d assume Sandile as well, but wasn’t confirmed) won’t be habitat-spawning in the wild or hatching from eggs during GoTour: Unova. Also, I’m sure we’ll get the other unannounced legendaries (Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus) via Special Research, but it’d be cool to get those for the Major Milestone encounters. An unrelated downside is that we’ve gotten 0 information on Keldeo, which we haven’t seen for several years.
The idea of making the lucky trade to be able to use with a friend around the world is how do you actually talk to that person campfire might work but it won't for every situation.
I just know in my soul the free track is going to give out mostly red Pokeballs and berries. It'll function the same as battle passes in every other game. Only the premium track will have anything worthwhile

If anything, it's more like shifting paid bonuses off one ticket, into another form of ticket that requires more time investment as well as more money to pay to unlock. Especially when we've had these kind of bonuses either available for free, or as part of the regular timed research linked to these events.
The Long-DISTANCE Lucky Trinket will be released next year as part of the $25 Super Ultra Deluxe Ticket version. 😜 (just kidding, in case that's not obvious) I'll probably stick to the free version, but not sure yet.
What they can do since they are already charging for a premium pass is guarantee encounters within said pass for hard to get RELEVANT mons for people in areas that are not that active or rural players. The timer on the trinket is unacceptable. Should be one use and then done. Not hurry and use it.
Why do I want to do anything to trigger a Lucky Trade? They are still at the whim of the RNG and can come up 10-10-10. Yes, a better chance of good stats, but not a great improvement.

I'm planning on getting the deluxe +10 pass for now to see how good it will be, and I'm a bit bummed out that the lucky trinket being only on a timer based system when it could be available for a player for up to a year with the benefit of trading from anywhere in the world. I think that might come around next year when we get the next GO Tour Global with Hoopa having an adventure effect that would allow us to not only raid for Pokemon from anywhere, but also allow for us to trade with our global friends list.

NOPE! Not going to pay for ANYTHING until they fix gmax. At level 50, with my small but strong circle, I have had access to everything in the game until gmax which is outrageous. I have voluntarily given up on aspects of the game because they are intolerable. GBL, for instance has rampant cheating, requires high ongoing investments and constant "rebalances" turns the Pokemon you worked hard to grind, catch and powerup into worthlessness. What do I do still? I sign in, put things in gyms, do a raid if it's close and little else. Been slowly(free) dumping best shiny legendary into home. I'm working my way through all mainline Pokemon games for switch. Mobile online gaming all work by pulling on some very primitive addictive instincts within all humans and they use mostly deceptive means while doing so. Niantic uses vague language to prevent people from making rational and informed decisions. That's why we are always straining with "what does boosted mean? what does really lucky mean?" They could just tell us but they won't. Instead they really on addicts who follow the hype of youtubers.
This is NOT good for every PoGo player. This is good only for those who can play for a week straight! It makes absolutely no sense to pay for a pass that requires you to actively play through the week, if you have.. lets say WORK or tend to your family like.. monday-friday. 2 day event tickets were cool. With this system you pay but are not be able to get bang for your buck, if you cant play all the time = at the time of paying yoy have no idea what you will get for your money!
i hope that everyone can use their fking brain.. because, if you already know that you won’t have the time to play constantly due to work and stuff, just leave it as a free to play pass… coz it’s fking FREE… if you can see that it’s possible for you to do the tasks maybe after work, you can always buy it later to get the rewards for both. it only sucks when you want that lucky item and don’t have the time for it to play.
I'm not a fan of the item being time limited but other than that it sounds great. I'm going to wait to see what the requirements are before getting the deluxe pass but I will most likely get it.

Pretty much decided to stop spending money entirely after the Rediscover Go update. The avatar models are hard to look at nowadays.

I started since the wild event when Gmax blocked me small circle from access. no good reason for it.
It would be cool if they give you pokemons with nice IV not something like 70% that you regret upgrading

The deluxe battle pass is expensive for just 1 lucky friend item and a basic victini.
