    Amazon's deal of the day made me search for what exactly is in the box and here I am! 😁

    I just purchased one from amazon. They have a good price. I hate to build things but doesn’t look to hard. I’ll be following this video while I put it together. I got the Scooby-Doo mystery machine set and that was simple to built. Thank you for the video

    I must say it was easy to build I hate putting stickers on but it’s not bad. The only complaint is that the lights go off too quickly. I wish they would stay on longer. Great set!!

    Can't wait for this to come out in the US. I do wish they had done an all 3 movie version, Mr Fusion, Whitewall tires, train wheels and the hood box from Part III would be the only things it'd need. Feels a bit cash-grabby if they do two more sets

      Joe Pants I’m surprised it’s not out there yet. Something tells me that there will only be these two sets, Universal put out a press release not long ago stating the ‘35th anniversary plans’ for this year and the Playmobil collaboration was one of them - which makes me think the two sets are purely as an anniversary item. That being said, of they make more than I’ll probably end up with those too!

      Interesting! I wonder what they have up their sleeve, the possibilities are endless really - pretty much anything the choose to recreate will be so cool 😎 😃

    I’ll buy it today and I’m really excited! one question though,
    Is it only available at smiths?

      Julius Bam You won’t be disappointed, there’s something really nice about the set. Smyths are the only UK retailer at the minute, as I write, Playmobil own website still says it’s coming out in May!

    Little bit disappointed that you have to put stickers on the car...that was a bit lazy of playmobil...concidering they put printed detail on the figures and a few other bits.
    Gaahhh I hate stickers cause guess what...they aren't permanent...I was thinking about getting this model...but now I'm not sure...I don't mind the buliding part...but I really don't fancy having to apply detail that should be printed on...plus I wouldn't be satisfied unless I could seal them in with a varnish...and why wasn't the car more secure in the box. 😒

    • @alt-cars3478
      @alt-cars3478  4 роки тому +2

      I agree, I think they make the stickers to make it a bit of a building process but they annoy me too. Very hard to apply them straight if you aren’t used to doing they kind of thing and then if you don’t do it perfectly straight it just annoys you 😂
      The car just rattling around seems odd but really there’s not much that could get damaged anyway.

      @@alt-cars3478 Good review...it was nice that you showed the model without the stickers built up just to see what it would look like...stickers just don't last...can't believe they did the front grill as a snap on piece but not the tail lights with translucent plastic...had they made the tail lights part of the car I would buy it for sure...when ever something new comes out in this day and age like this I keep hoping newer models/toys will prove me wrong when it comes to quality...being like how it was some decades ago...more and more now I'm seeing less good paint work and less printed detail and inferior materials...they could of easily sold this model for more than £50 if they didn't cheat/use stickers and made it more secure looking in the box to give the impression they made a decent product they are passionate about.

      theonemasterwarhero Yes I totally agree, a 3D plastic moulded panel that clipped onto the rear like the grill would have been far better. And definitely would not have bumped the price up. It’s still a very nice set but it’s confusing if they are aiming it at a more adult collector market or just kids. Majority of kids won’t care for BTTF but majority of adults would pay more for better quality and expect it for display purposes.

      @recall Fun building?...ohh yeah cause kids can apply stickers easily and neat...(I certainly couldn't at that age)...without the help of an adult...sorry but my opinion isn't whining...it's actually very fair criticism aswell as steep price for what it is...(I know more about models/toys than you think and when to recognise good quality for money)...it's a fact stickers don't last...plus stickers are not nessessary anymore like they we're years ago...we have improved with better techniques for detail...this model was cheaply done...why make the front headlights translucent plastic but not the tail lights or printed detail on the figures but not on the car?...I have every right to have an opinion about a product...and for modern standards of today 2020 with models...I've not been impressed...not when older stuff comes off looking superior in quality...another problem why we are getting less quality nowadays and half baked laziness with products is because everything is made by cheap China.

    • @theonemasterwarhero
      @theonemasterwarhero 3 роки тому

      @recall Well you'd be wrong I'm really not asking for much when comparing old vs new...(I could say it sounds like you'd buy anything regardless whether it was faulty/not up to standard even if you we're going to waste/lose money etc)...not quite sure what you mean with you're question...Deloreans aren't perfect but then again no car is (the irony is an old car like that in this day and age tends to be better than most stuff of current times in terms of what you can do with it)...there actually easy to repair since they use common parts mechanically...I'd rather buy real Delorean any day over any of the generic looking/throw away computerized tin cans they have on the road now.
