I’ve never had Starry soda but then again, I don’t drink much soda anymore after my dentist explained what carbonated drinks can due to my teeth 😬! Having said that, the Starry seems to be a good deal from a price and taste perspective.
Im with Kevin! I finally found the zero sugar cranberry sprite this year. I definitely didn’t enjoy it as much as I remembered! I wasn’t sure if it was just one of those things that doesn’t live up to what you remember or if they had “improved” it over the years 😅 As a Pepsi fan, and after hearing your thoughts, I’d love to try the starry! Interesting and enjoyable review! Thank you!!
Btw: Campbell chunky has some new flavors… I tried the Texas bbq burger… it’s like eating a bowl of thinned out bbq sauce with a few potatoes/beans and hamburger meat… as a soup it’s very sad… but I used it on top of a potato with shredded cheddar cheese and that was great..
I rarely have soda but when I do, I choose Starry at restaurants because of the meal and healthy digestive benefits such as reduced digestive upset. I would love this Starry because of the cranberry flavour and the carbonation.
It's nice to finally get a break from pumpkin spice !!! I wonder what spices are in the Sprite. I looked it up, but it doesn't say. Would you say that the spice taste overwhelms the cranberry taste?? Thanks for the review.
Their site says that in Kentucky Kroger is suppose to have 16.9 oz bottles of Starry and so is Walmart Plus stores (the bigger Walmart stores), as well as Family Dollar and Dollar General.
We have Starry here in Maryland in the regular and zero in six pack 16 oz bottles and 20 oz bottles loose. Haven’t tried the holiday flavor but I did buy the winterberry spice sprite didn’t like that flavor. I also don’t like cans.
If you like Starry Zero, get a Soda Stream, then you can make your own 1liter or half liter bottles, and the Soda Stream "diet cola" is basically a rip off of coke zero, it tastes the same. If you do get a Soda Stream though, you have to invest in a 10 or 20lb tank of CO2 plus adapter to refill the tiny Soda Stream canisters in order to make it cost effective. It's a lot on the front end, like I paid $200 for a 20lb tank, but I can make a 1liter bottle of soda with Walmat bottle water and soda syrup for less than half the price per ounce of store bought soda, so over time, it does save money.
Whoa, I didn't know the Starry had a Zero Sugar version. I've seen it everywhere but just assumed they were all full sugar. I love ZS Starry, so I'll have to check for the ZS Cranberry Blizz. Our stores have 6pk of the ZS Starry in 16.9oz bottles and single 20oz bottles. I prefer cans because unless the bottles are on sale, the price per can comes out better than the bottles, plus I get more. i understand the bottle and the ability to recap it. I tried the Sprite when it first came out years ago and wasn't fond of it. Speaking of which-you were right about the 7-Up Shirley Temple. I never found the Zero Sugar Shirley Temple but I found the 2-litre Full sugar. I had a free coupon for a 2-Litre product and picked it up. It was so weak, and that was with full sugar. I compared it side-by-side with pouring Zero Sugar Starry into a glass, about 3/4. Then I added less than 1/4 of Rose's Grenadine. WOW! It added so much flavor and the Grenadine went with the Starry really well. Making your own is so much better than the weak 7-Up version.
I was never able to find that Sprite, but since I’m enjoying the Starry I think I’ll pass. I’ve enjoyed Starry a lot since it came out. I was able to get a 6 pack of bottles a few years back. I think stores around me still sell it like that, so it’s weird you can’t find it.
Not a fan of the winter spiced cranberry Sprite. It just has a strange flavor to me. I love Starry zero sugar, would like to try the cranberry blizz... But we don't get Starry in Canada, so I'll have to wait till my next stateside trip.
I've tried the Sprite one out of curiosity, but the carbonation wrecked me. Even if the Starry one was milder, I wouldn't buy it as I'm not interested in trying anything more... I think the Canada Dry cranberry ginger ale is better, but that gets me too. I just stay away. 😣
The price difference! 😮 I’ve never been a Sprite gal, but like the Starry Lemon Lime. I would like to try this holiday flavor but I don’t know if I want to buy a full bottle. You’re right they need 20oz bottles or even a 12 oz. Thanks for a great review.
Now mix them in the pot and drink it

If you’ve had sierra must it’s the same thing
Amazon sells Starry Lemon Lime Zero Sugar 20 fl oz bottle (10 Pack) which is currently in stock.
Thank you!
They are 2.88$ at walmart in Canada for 591ml Sprite canberry and regular

They do exist we have them at Publix in Alabama.
That's great to hear!!
I’ve seen the Starry zero sugar 6pk bottle on the Walmart website.
They don’t have it in our stores unfortunately.

Might be good mixer for alcoholic beverages? I’m glad they made it in zero sugar… I don’t drink the regular soda

I hope you find it!
0:32 Christmas with the Kranks?
YES!!!

I really enjoyed the Starry. I didn’t think the spice was too strong.
Their site says that in Kentucky Kroger is suppose to have 16.9 oz bottles of Starry and so is Walmart Plus stores (the bigger Walmart stores), as well as Family Dollar and Dollar General.
Unfortunately, they don’t. We were just in Kroger and specifically looked for a 6-pack of bottles zero sugar.

I love a bottle!
Isn't starry Sierra mist renamed? I use to love the cranberry lime Sierra mist
More or less yes.
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
I miss the Cranberry Sierra Mist. Idk what made them get rid of it and go with Starry.
SM was a poor performer for Pepsi. So they started Starry as a "new" replacement targeting a younger audience...
no they got sued by someone with the same name
Last Year My Local Church gave me Two 12 Pack cans of the Full Calorie Version of Regular Starry Along with over 36 16.9 ounce Bottles of It!

I don’t like it enough to make it myself.
Sounds good

I believe it! Yours had to have been much better!
I have seen Commercials where they show The Zero Sugar Version of Starry in 20 Ounce oz Bottles
Thankfully Pumpkin Spice is leaving and welcome Christmas!!! 😍
Happy holidays!
The cost of the single serve sodas is ridiculous. I like Starry and this flavor sounds delicious 😊
I drank both of these myself. After finishing the Sprite, I just kept refilling the bottle with the Starry. It was a nice change!
I wonder if it could be who ever the bottler in your area doesn't do the bottles. the cranberry ginger ale is also good
I’d have to try these, the Sprite might just edge ahead for me. Again these are flavours you don’t find in 🇬🇧. Thanks for the review.
You’re welcome 😊
I bought the Starry zero at the Durham airport for $4 something. Talk about price gouging! I’ve seen them in CVS near me, but only single servings.
Wow!!!

The Starry is much better 😃
@ I grew up on Sierra Mist so this really takes me back to that flavor
I just picked up the Starry Blizz 2liter at Kroger for .99
That’s great!!
they should do christmas pudding flavour sprite or mince pie sprite 😅
Coca-Cola always brings the carbonation (which I prefer), more so than PepsiCo

I’m surprised you don’t get Starry.
@TamiDunn we never had Sierra Mist either.. Which i think was what Starry became

The price difference was crazy.
Awesome review
Glad you enjoyed it 😃
