The Mantis is good for system authorities checking for contraband, criminals, or for players trying to snag bounties. Not just primarily important for pirates. Two equal sides to the coin here as far as usage cases.
dont know if you know this @subliminaL but the "remote turret" can be attached to the wing.. in the loadout manager lol. and its certainly is good for solo play
Nice guide I think Connie T is best value for buck cargo nearly doublt smuggling tractor beam same s4 weapons and 1 turret but tractor beam is more valuable... Mis it still has a lot..
So transporting people from and to the Capital Ship makes sense but not Cargo? ;D Nice video. There is still many older players who still dont know differences from ships. So this is useful.
Argo Cargo really needs a gold pass, It should be able to carry 8scu container. Indeed with cargo refactor It would be cool if it can carry/drop Tumbril for example.
Do you have a video based on the differences between blades turrets, slave turrets and npc controlled turrets? Not from a technical pov as we know the difference but from how we imagine the gameplay to be.
Kinda wish CO had more ships, I really like their aesthetic and they have my favourite ship voice. Be cool to have like a heavy fighter version of the mustang.
quick question. I am looking to get either the sabre comet or the scorpius. any thoughts why i should take the one over the other? i plan to solo if that helps. i heard that you can solo with the scorpius too. I have an Inferno to possibly melt to acquire either ship.
i was on whole stream butn on UA-cam. I would like to point out that 600i shall be here for same reason they putted Phoenix here. Im mad we can buy phoenix and not 600i :D i know its not a miliary ship in any way, but its best for ERTs, And overall lovely ship. And phoeni is just ship with artificialy incriesd value due to its limited sales. So they know they shall not put Phoenix there cuz its same class as 600i and 400i and still they did the worst thing. I wouldnt be mad if both ships wouldnt be there, uz it would make sense.
I was with a friend who was trying the game last night and tried to get down to the show floor. We had a bug where the expo floor isn't available from the elevator at vision centre, was so gutted, hope it works for me when I try again later today
Before entering any elevator, always check it is textured as an elevator. If it is black or strange textures, let the door close they open again. Otherwise you may through the door floor and the all planet :) This happen most of the time during free event because of servers heavy load.
@@vinct7023 I'm familiar with that bug, but the one I encountered was that inside the elevator, the control panel only has one button, for the floor I was already on, could not move to the expo floor
@@gawaynlothian2572 I got it as well. Came back an hour later and it was okay. May be it was the time needed to switch from a manufacturer to the next one server wise...
@@vinct7023 so I had tried in the evening first day of rsi day, and had this error on all servers, tried again around noon the next day, and same thing, but then I got in to the show floor the evening of the second day and was able to rent a scorpius. Clearly miswritten. When they say slave they are referring to blading. The issue is the terminology isn't something that is talked about much so it gets confused. Days after a dev clarified in a spectrum post. I'll prove it with this clip of John crew himself speaking about what type of gameplay he envisions for the Scorpius. ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxu7A5KD3PiOuRGRSpB9_hUS0Xf_oxTjTG
@@SubliminaLstv Regardless of terminology, my understanding is that they just intend the pilot to be able to fire the turret locked forward, no? I didn't hear them say anything about that in the clip you linked, and the Q&A makes it pretty clear that the pilot would be able to fire the turret.
They stated that when it's bladed it will not be able to move to the rear position. Why would J crew state the Scorpius is a multi crew ship if In the future it will become a solo ship. Slaving a turret makes it a solo ship. The loss of the rear position is miniscule. I've never needed it. The ship is nimble enough for the pilot to keep any target in the forward 180. degrees.
@@SubliminaLstv Yeah, of course if the pilot is slaving/blading the turret, it would only be able to fire in a fixed position. They've confirmed that we'll be getting that functionality for ships like the Scorpius and Hurricane, but the pilot will probably not be able to use the turret like a remote turret, and these ships would still be more effective overall when run with a gunner
I don't think we have the same definition blading and slaving are totally different things. Slaved shouldn't require a blade. The SuperHornet has a slaved turret. When the pilot fires the turret fires at the same spot as the other weapons. Blading requires a component to be purchased and placed in a ship. Game devs can tweak balance my making the AI more or less effective. The bladed turret will not be able to move itself to the rear so it will be stuck forward. If you slave it there will be no reason to ever blade it, hire NPCs, or place another player in it. If you don't believe me, when was the last time You've seen 2 pilots in a super hornet? Or even a super hornet referred to as a multi crew ship.
Yeah its in the description under all important links here you go. This is a direct link to my setup page on my website. Currently Im single PC streaming and my monitor is essentially 4k so you should get better performance than me. subliminal.gg/mysetup/

Very true but you would still not want to do it solo with it.
Hell Yes on the jpeg buy's guides!
JPG buyers guides sound lit!!!!
The Argo cargo can be used to transport things around the Idris hangar or capital ship to capital ship. There was a squadron 42 trailer that showed it

I think the argo cargo because capital ships have a dedicated hanger for it.
Would love to see those jpg buyers guides. I've been trying to collect some info on some of the older concepts myself
I'm really considering getting a Kraken tomorrow but haven't decided. I know I'm stupid lol.

I just want to upgrade my death trap Hoverquad to an X1 velocity!
I appreciate these videos of the Invictus expo. I'm really not a fan of flying down to Orison if I can avoid it.

Unfortunately I don't. And it's hard to find good info from CIG. We may have to wait until it gets closer to release.
@@SubliminaLstv looking forward to your take on this when CiG has this nailed down.
wonders why the Cargo and Lux connie is in the show when suppose be military only, CIG not sticking to its own rules

Where’s the load out for the scorpius?
Where is the link to the trailer from the beginning of the video?

Yep; alpha = cargo, beta = living quarters, gamma = racing, delta = combat.
Why did you say the Scorpius' turret will "never be slave-able"? It says right in the Q&A that it will be slave-able.

what does that mean, blade-able not slave-able ?
The Hornets turret is slaved. Blades add AI control. Blades are not in game yet.
